I bought the high chair for my first child when he was almost seven months old. We've been using this highchair since about four months. It really helped us out incredibly at the time. The baby didn't want to lie down at all – neither in the crib nor on the play mat. I chose a chair that could be easily carried around the apartment without any issues. The thing is, my husband is at work all day, and I was alone with the child. So, I took this chair to the kitchen, the bedroom, and even the bathroom. The baby sat calmly in it and didn't fuss. The chair turned out to be not only maneuverable but also very compact.
