Contrast, sharpness, decent rendering! A cut above its competitors in other systems, it has multi-layered coating. Handles backlighting well. Highly recommend! Tried 50 1/4 manual, got tired of getting it in focus, even though it has a focus sensor. This one is much more efficient and costs much less than its "brother" 1/4.
