    An excellent lens for those deciding to purchase a "fifty" lens for the first time.

    There is one limitation (not a drawback): since this lens is designed for cropped sensors, the coverage area is reduced, sometimes it’s inconvenient to step far back to take a full-length photo. But this is a portrait lens, and that's its feature.
    It is definitely worth the money, you can buy it without hesitation!
    Contrast, sharpness, decent rendering! A cut above its competitors in other systems, it has multi-layered coating. Handles backlighting well. So far, I haven't managed to catch any "flare" in my practice.
    2) No hood. Bought and installed a threaded aluminum one.

    Highly recommend! Tried 50 1/4 manual, got tired of getting it in focus, even though it has a focus sensor. This one is much more efficient and costs much less than its "brother" 1/4. Installed a rubber lens hood because there is no lens hood included.
    Price-quality, lightweight, bokeh is quite good
