The design of the flow filter from the famous South Korean brand RAIFIL uses components from world leaders in the field of water treatment. The model itself offers a 6-stage purification of tap water, after which the liquid not only gets rid of contaminants, but is also saturated with healthy micronutrients.
Tasty and healthy
During filtration, all possible impurities, pollution and organic substances are eliminated from the water, and active chlorine is completely removed. And to keep the water tasty and healthy, at the last stage of processing, the built-in mineralizer comes into play. A tap with two regulators leaves the consumer with a choice: mineralized water can be used for drinking, and just purified water for cooking.
Water reserves
In a minute, the filter is able to pass through itself only 0.13 liters of water. However, such low performance is characteristic of all models that operate on the basis of the reverse osmosis method. In the arsenal of such filters there is a storage tank. In this case, its capacity is 12 liters — there will be enough water reserves for some time even in the event of an emergency shutdown of the water supply.
Operating pressure
The design of RAIFIL Grando 6 includes a built-in pump, which is designed to provide normal operating pressure for the filter in the event that the water pressure at the inlet drops below the prescribed 2.8 atm. The maximum pressure threshold in this case should not exceed a value of 6 atm. The specified range is fully suitable for normal household use of the model.
Service life
It is advisable to change the three lower filter elements every six months. The replacement period for the post-filter and mineralizer is 1 year. And most rarely you will have to look for a replacement for the membrane — depending on the operating conditions, it must be changed every 2-3 years. By the way, the pre-filter is enclosed in a transparent flask, so you can also visually monitor the condition of the first cartridge for its timely replacement.
