Clean drinking water extractors from water supply systems under the RAIFIL brand are available in versions for homes, offices and industrial facilities. One of the most effective models of the domestic front in the portfolio of the South Korean manufacturer is the Grando 6 integrated water treatment system.
6 stages
The number "6" in the naming of the model clearly hints at the number of stages of water purification. Primary water treatment is carried out inside the trinity of pre-filter elements: polypropylene and a couple of carbon filters (with granular activated carbon and pressed). The first SC-10-10 filter is placed in a transparent flask, which makes it possible to monitor the condition of the replaceable cassette and replace it in a timely manner. The pre-cleaning stage is aimed at eliminating suspended particles, organochlorines, pesticides and other harmful substances.
Water treatment at the molecular level
The main purification element in the face of the FilmTec reverse osmosis membrane (USA) is put into operation at the fourth stage, when water is finely filtered at the molecular level. Along with harmful impurities, water is also purified from useful substances, therefore, in the additional assets of the system there is a built-in mineralizer for saturating drinking water with micronutrients. Water for boiling or household appliances can be drawn bypassing the mineralizer, for which a high-tech double faucet is provided in the package.
Offline stocks
The maximum capacity of reverse osmosis filtration is 0.27 L/min. An autonomous supply of water, which can be used in case of unscheduled water supply outages, is stored in a 12-liter storage tank. The pre-cleaning cartridges of the system have a resource of about 6 months, it is advisable to change the carbon post-filter and the mineralizer once a year, and the most “survivable” of all is the reverse osmosis membrane, which will be asked to be replaced after 3 years of operation of the system. The replacement periods may vary downwards depending on the quality of the incoming water and the amount of its consumption.
