in general, I will express my outrage at those who say that cast iron tubs are from the past century. You are completely mistaken. Maybe the old ones were from the past century, but what they make now is simply superb. Take my bathtub, for example. In the past, the cast iron tub would take a long time to heat up, and it was tough to keep it warm, which was something acrylic tub owners boasted about—they claimed it wasn't cold and needed no heating. But although yours might not be cold, it loses heat very quickly, whereas a cast iron tub, once heated, can hold warmth 3-4 times longer. Moreover, new cast iron tubs are made so that the outer part is treated with some special coating that retains heat, while the interior is designed to absorb and maintain temperature. By the way, the interior isn't cold at all, just like in an acrylic tub, which cannot be said about those old cast iron tubs everyone complains about. Mine, in particular, is just gorgeous—I got the biggest size because I have a child and personally love to soak in the bath, so I have the largest size, 170*75. As for convenience, the tub has a non-slip coating, plus armrests that allow for complete relaxation in the bath, and handles on the sides, making it easy to get out without fear of falling.

The bathtub is excellently designed from the perspective of anatomical comfort for complete body relaxation. But China and Vladivostok fell off the list immediately as the quality corresponded, so the choice was between a German and a Spaniard. I couldn't afford the German one financially as a bath of this type starts at 3000$, but Spain could be had for 1500$. That's essentially why I chose Roca, Malibu is the line, sink, toilet, bidet... so I bought everything together. My bathtub was placed with its sides against the walls, so sometimes there's even a desire to be in it together with someone, we decided to buy one with central tap connections where a handle might be. Of course, there's a bit of a tight fit, but we chose a precise mixer that releases water at the right temperature, perfect for the bath.
