The Ryobi EHG2020LCD 2000W hair dryer features precise temperature control. It can be continuously changed in the range from 50 °C to 650 °C in steps of ten degrees. Adjustment is carried out using the wheel. Along with it, a ring rotates, on which pictograms are drawn. Each of them shows what kind of work a certain temperature range is suitable for. That is, even those who are not used to reading instructions will be able to quickly figure out how to use a technical hair dryer correctly and will not make a mistake with the settings during operation. The exact current temperature value is displayed on the LCD display. It has a backlight, so the numbers are perfectly visible in any conditions: even in a dark garage, even in the bright sun. The device stands well in a vertical position (except for the flat “back of the head” of the case, it has a wire bracket on the handle, which serves as a reliable support). The possibility of stationary use significantly expands the functionality of the tool, and the cold air mode extends the life of the heating element.

This hair dryer has an interesting design, good ergonomics and a comfortable rubberized handle with a D-shaped protection. But concern for customers on the part of Ryobi was manifested not only in this. The manufacturer packed the tool in a high-quality case in which the hair dryer can be carried with you or stored in the workshop. Inside it there are four interchangeable nozzles: round (universal), side nozzle (for cleaning window frames from old paint), as well as wide and narrow nozzles (for removing paintwork and working with plastic). The nozzles sit tightly in the sockets intended for them, do not rattle when carried and do not fall out when the suitcase is turned over. A pleasant surprise is the presence in the case of a convenient spatula with a plastic handle.

Ryobi EHG2020LCD belongs to the middle price category. But some users do not need precise temperature control, the LCD display seems like an extra luxury, and you don’t want to overpay for a case. For economical masters, Ryobi has a simpler dryer — the Ryobi EHG2000 model, which costs almost half as much.
