I bought this microphone for the camera so that the autofocus of the lens wouldn't be heard. But it turned out that it didn't help (the noise reduced, but didn't disappear). -vibration suspension inside -wind resistant -wire clip (won’t come loose) -compactness -more sound directionality than a camera microphone -no power required -ease of use -suitable for use with phones -it is not possible to adjust the gain |
I got it as a replacement for the Rode VideoMicro, expecting it to be a more compact and convenient microphone. I thought the sound would be at least as good, but it turned out to be worse.
