Folding knife brand SKIF is a solution for everyday use, which can be attributed to the middle price segment. The model is brought into working position even with one hand, for which a convenient peg (flipper) is offered. The popular liner lock locks the blade from accidental folding to improve overall safety. The SKIF Boy knife received an 85 mm blade with a smooth cutting edge.

Its moderate thickness of 2.5 mm makes it possible to expect an average level of resistance to transverse loads. The blade is made of 8Cr14MoV steel, that is, an alloy not subject to corrosion processes with a high level of strength and a hardness of 58 units on the Rockwell scale (sharpening is really long). Additionally, the metal is coated with Stonewash, which minimizes glare in the sun and protects against scratches.

Users can choose a model with one of three handle colors - black, olive or orange. At the same time, the liners themselves are invariably made of G10 fiberglass - a durable and lightweight material (the final weight of the product is 110 grams). Among other features, it is worth highlighting the presence of a hole on the handle for attaching a strap (lanyard) and a removable pocket clip to ensure a deep fit of the tool on clothing.
