Overall an excellent set-top box, I bought it on sale for reasonable money. The games are certainly not cheap, but there are often sales. operating speed design This particular bundle does not come with the Fortnite game, but simply with a code for activating in-game items - nothing at all. If you don't have 4K and don't have HDR, it doesn't make sense to buy it and overpay. I am adding to the review after almost a year of use: It makes a lot of noise in heavy games (Horizon, God of War, RDR2). In general, downloading from the PS Store is not very good... I have a gigabit channel on all devices, PS4 can barely download 100 Mbit/s... It's a shame! Games take a very long time to download! You need to clean it once a year! Over the course of a year, dust just accumulates in it! ![]() |
If you have a 1080p TV and you can get a bad graphics for adequate pennies - I recommend Quite compact, not loud (I have the 72 revision), games run smoothly, the gamepad holds a charge well and charges quickly. What I liked first and foremost is the built-in power supply (hello Xbox One). The graphics impressed me with their quality, everything is clear and without delays, the prices for games are also quite reasonable, with frequent sales. Wireless connection to the router has low ping and allows you to comfortably play online projects. Very high-quality and quiet gamepad. The plastic quality of the console itself is at a high level, it doesn't scratch easily (again, hello Xbox One). The headset connects to the gamepad without adapters. Relevance as of 2023. For myself, I don’t know the shortcomings of my console, there’s a real handful. ![]() |
Great console, switched from a fat model to a pro, the difference is noticeable not sure what you're talking about. The picture is excellent. There's one drawback, but it relates to the service where I got it, the HDD in the console cracks during games and makes noise, seems to be some kind of defect as far as I understood. I'll be switching to SSD, which solves the problem with lags, texture loading, and speed, I also recommend it to you. -Exclusives, exclusives and more exclusives, the best games I've played are PS4 exclusives -Graphics have improved -Price -Quality -You can connect a mouse and keyboard and play like that, but that's a bit too much) noisy, not annoying, I play in stereo headphones ![]() |
Older sister
Both the original PlayStation 4 and its cheaper Slim version launch most modern games at a resolution of only 1600x900 pixels, with a frame rate of less than 30 and average (by PC standards) game settings. And the 900p picture looks like on 1080p, and even more so on a 4K TV, to put it mildly, not perfect. To solve this problem, a special Pro version of the console was released in parallel with the PS4 Slim, which costs $100 more.
Growing Teraflops
If the PS4 Pro processor was only slightly overclocked (from 1.6 to 2.13 GHz), then the graphics accelerator was replaced with a new one, twice as powerful as the previous one (performance - 4 versus 2 Teraflops). As a result, the Pro version turned out to be even larger than the original PS4, but at the same time it remained more compact than most gaming PCs.
Generation 4K
The PS4 Pro offers three profiles for game graphics settings to choose from: 1080p at 30 FPS at ultra graphics settings, 1080p at 60 FPS at high graphics settings, and 4K at 30 FPS at medium graphics settings. Here, what is more important to someone: maximum graphic effects, high smoothness of the picture, or an ultra-high resolution that matches the TV. It is the owners of 4K TVs that are the main target audience for the PS4 Pro.
