Top-of-the-line wireless gaming headset with emulation of 8-channel surround sound 7.1. It is the senior model of the manufacturer in the line of Arctis headsets, positioned as a mass device of the highest price category. A distinctive feature of the headset is a well-balanced sound, which is not common among gaming headsets. The rich low-frequency range does not interfere with the clear reproduction of mid-frequency sounds and high detailing of the "tops".
Thanks to this, the SteelSeries Arctis 7 headset is not only suitable for gaming battles, but it does an excellent job with high-quality playback of music of various genres. The wireless transmission principle is implemented using a complete USB receiver, which is additionally equipped with a line-in and line-out. Thus, not only a PC or a laptop can be used as a signal, but also other digital / analogue players, smartphones, a gamepad, a console or a tablet.
The retractable microphone has an average level of sensitivity and a noise reduction system. The built-in Li-Ion battery provides up to 25 hours of battery life, and the range of reliable signal reception of the receiver reaches 12 m. Large bowls with soft ear cushions on a metal headband have a comfortable fit and a good level of noise isolation. The fabric finish of the ear cushions creates a comfortable microclimate for the ear, and the outer soft-touch coating of the plastic cups is comfortable tactile.
Always clarify the specifications and configuration of the product with the online store manager before purchasing.

I took for 9-10k hryvnia. Maybe there are other headphones that are the same and cheaper or better for the same price Fast charging. Quality sound for games. Clear software, presets for games in software. I don’t know what this type of micro is called, but you have to speak directly into it, i.e. it muffles all extraneous sounds. Likely suitable for most people Micro-USB connector i.e. it sticks on one side. If you connect to the console, then all settings are reset ![]() |
The focus was on purchasing good gaming headphones for playing PUBG, watching movies occasionally, listening to music, and the fact that they are compatible with Sony also added to their appeal. BUT what a disappointment it was from the very first use, I installed their proprietary SteelSeries Engine 3 software, fiddled with the settings, figured out how to activate "7.1," and felt like I had a bucket on my head, which didn't want to come off despite all the settings. And indeed, all so-called bloggers and reviewers were saying unanimously that there was no tunnel effect in them! Okay, I launched PUBG, here I was faced with a tough fight both with opponents and this miracle equalizer at the same time, gunshot sounds seemed to be literally under your feet, as if I were sitting in a barrel of kerosene and accidentally dropped a gun, which then shot me in the knee along with my eardrums. All gunshots within 10-20 meters sounded like cannon fire. I didn't feel anything quiet like footsteps or the pulling of a grenade pin at all, but luckily after a while, I got the hang of it and it became more or less bearable. I had to work up a sweat, but grenade explosion sounds just wouldn't give in, which ultimately was the last straw, the sound of all EXPLOSIONS in the game was tripling!! I don't know what this is correctly called, but those who know will understand; the sound literally lagged, crackled, and creaked, it felt like each explosion was testing these headphones to their breaking point and any moment now they would die, everything was resolved by simply disabling 7.1) BUT weren't they made for this? I’ll start with the most pleasant thing: - the build quality is really what everyone is talking about, and it’s hard to argue with it - the materials are pleasant to the touch - it sits comfortably on your head, and after some time you really don’t feel them - the absence of wires, I don’t know if this is an advantage this is because this is what we actually pay for. This is where the small and insignificant, for me, advantages of this piece of g... are over! Now about what is really important, and what is missing here -Sound!!!!! And this is in "gaming" headphones for 12+k?! I'll describe all the nuances in the comments -Paid reviews from almost all YouTubers, based on which this device was purchased -The microphone on/off button sticks (I couldn't always release it on the first, or even the fourth try), but maybe I was just unlucky. -The microphone again in "gaming" headphones for 12+ k sounds worse than in the recently deceased Edifier'ax g4, all friends noticed the difference and not in a good way. And since the main disadvantages of this model are what headphones basically should have and what they were made for, I will now steamroll over this device † This review was formulated literally in a few days, after realizing that I was cruelly deceived.. since I understood that nothing could be fixed in these headphones, neither with firmware nor with the praised program of the manufacturer.. ran to return this miracle back. ![]() |
I recommend these headphones to everyone, they are the best, I have never seen anything like them #1 Comfortable to wear #2 Ears don't get sweaty #3 Use on both PC and Android, and iOS No disadvantages use SteelSeries Arctis 7 month or more i recommend it should buy |
Stylish headphones with an unusual headboard
SteelSeries Arctis 7 looks expensive due to high-quality plastic. Smooth and pleasant to the touch, it gives the device a presentable look, although the “ears” cost quite a bit for the top segment. The model with white plastic and a contrasting black headboard looks especially great. The headphone design itself is unusual: instead of retractable clips, a removable tape is used, which stretches, automatically adjusting to the size and shape of the head, like ski goggles. On the head, the headphones sit and are really comfortable, but it cannot be said that the sensations are somehow different from other models with a standard headband. Well, it’s unusual, it won’t go to everyone. But the usual tape can be replaced with a coloured or patterned one. The company's store has a fairly large assortment of colours.
Excellent balanced sound
Most of all, Arctis 7 bribes with balanced sound, which is not often found among gaming headsets, which usually turn up the bass. Here, the bass sounds rich, but does not obscure the mids and highs, which are played out dynamically, cleanly and with decent detail saturation. In general, in terms of sound, this is quite close to the “musical” models from Sennheiser or Koss in this price segment. Therefore, if you listen to music as often as you play, then SteelSeries Arctis 7 may be a very good purchase. Moreover, the bass in games can always be tweaked in the SteelSeries Engine 3 application.
Flexible sound settings for each game
And not just bass. SteelSeries' software is always fancy and here, for example, you can set up multi-channel sound profiles for almost every single game. In stealth games like Hitman and Styx, it's worth playing around with clarity and positioning to hear every step of the enemy and clearly understand the distance to him. In shooters like Doom, pile on more bass and meat.
Headphones for games and for the player
The advantages of Arctis 7 do not end there — in addition to the record battery life (up to 24 hours), the headphones can be made wired and can be used with a smartphone on the street without any problems. The retractable microphone hides in one of the cups and then they are no different from other overhead headphones. At the same time, they look cool and, as we have already said, they do an excellent job with music of any genre. No wonder they have so many awards from publications like IGN, PC Gamer, Tom's Guide and many others.
