Tatra Garden BCU 45
![]() |
Gasoline garden tool for mowing and cutting various types of vegetation: tall grass, weeds, dead wood, reeds and shrubs. Versatility is ensured by the inclusion of a mowing head with fishing line (cutting width 41.5 cm) and a 3-bladed steel knife (diameter 25 cm). The functions of the power plant are performed by a 2-stroke engine with a working volume of 52 cm³ and a power of 4.4 hp.
The fuel consumption of the Tatra Garden BCU 45 brush cutter is 0.5 l/h. Transistor ignition ensures reliable starting and stable engine operation. Rotation from the gearbox to the nozzle is transmitted through a rigid drive shaft, which is located inside the rod. The tool comes with a belt that allows you to transfer the weight of a 5-kg brush cutter onto your shoulders, and a measuring container necessary for preparing the fuel mixture in the correct proportion.

Bought on the official website. I apologize for my French, but the chainsaw is complete c... I bought MS170 to my own detriment. Why talk about European quality when this is regular, far from the best, Chinese equipment. The saw is copied from some Sthil or Husqvarna, and copied clumsily. Plastic parts are made poorly, with burrs in some places, and uneven surfaces in others. The exhaust sound is excessively loud and it vibrates considerably at idle. This is a basic Chinese product with a Tatra sticker and an inflated price by 30-50%. It’s better to add a bit more money and buy the cheapest Sthil or Husqvarna. Starts up All: very noisy, strong vibration, intermittent operation, poor workmanship ![]() |
The trash is full, I stretched all the screws, but they unscrew themselves, the tank protection broke off from vibrations and this was on the second day ... Works All use Tatra Garden BCU 45 less than month |
Chinese unreliable low-quality equipment (poor quality of parts and assembly). If you like repairing a braid more than working with it, then this is your choice. I do NOT recommend. price -High fuel and oil consumption. Yes, and it's recommended to fill oil at a ratio of 1:40, not 1:50. -Run-in procedure. I don't even know how to describe it. Instead of mowing, you spend at least a day on incomprehensible procedures with a timer (5 minutes of work, 10 minutes of rest, I don't exactly remember - check the manual. This goes on until you've burned through 2 tanks). -After the first start, it immediately leaked exhaust from under its mounting bolts, resulting in the exhaust guard and tank being smeared with burnt oil, and a simple tightening didn't help. -The line from the box needs constant changing. You spend more time winding a new one onto the spool than mowing. -Next is the adjustment of the carburetor, which was supposedly factory set. The mower either starts poorly or easily and then runs at high revs without pressing the throttle handle. -Later, the fuel-drain hose simply broke down or dissolved. After a year, the second hose, the fuel supply one, became hard, i.e., it became rigid. -The fuel cap valve doesn't work, it doesn't release excess vapor pressure, resulting in fuel leaking out through the supply-return seal, spreading over the tank. -The starter broke. The starter mechanism started jamming, i.e., the cord doesn't rewind after trying to start the mower. That's everything I remembered over the year. I mowed just about 0.2 hectares (at most) last season.
