When all the basic kitchen appliances have already been bought, the female culinary fantasy does not stop, but moves on, towards all sorts of exotic things like yogurt makers, marinators, egg cookers and other popcorn machines))) But there are pleasant exceptions, so my wife bought this grill and I I saw how delicious a well-cooked steak can be. A simple yet well-made and fully functional grill appliance. While it may have fewer bells and whistles and additional features than its bigger counterparts, it grills a perfect 10 out of 10! The impressive power of 1600 W quickly heats the aluminum ribbed plates, reaching working temperature in just 5-6 minutes. There's no guessing here; a special indicator shows when the desired temperature is reached. There are only three temperature settings, selected with a selector knob. It's astounding how quickly it cooks meat, fish, or vegetables. At first, I didn't get the trick, but then realized it's because heating occurs from both sides and with pressing. So there's no point in keeping a steak for more than 8-9 minutes; on the third temperature regulator setting, beef is cooked to at least "well done" in this time. The taste of food prepared this way could be praised separately, but that would be lengthy and probably not of interest. I'll just add that the grill can also work in a fully open BBQ mode. The plates of the working surface can be removed for cleaning and even washed in a dishwasher. The appliance itself can be stored vertically in a cabinet or pantry, which is relevant for our small kitchen. The non-stick coating of the plates really does not allow anything to stick, but it is quite possible to char food at too high a temperature or for too long, we have already had this happen. It is a pity that there is no timer or warning. |
