When buying home appliances in general and plumbing in particular, I always try to focus on well-known brands. Yes, indeed, sometimes you can save money by buying a good noun, in those things that should work for many years, I prefer not to risk it. It's the same with the sink. The low-cost for its purchase turned out to be not that luxurious, but I still preferred to purchase a low-cost option, but from a well-known Spanish brand. By the way, it is better to make such purchases in trusted stores that value their reputation. The market is now flooded with cheaper fakes, which outwardly differ only in the absence of the Teka inscription. But when you take a fake in your hands, you will immediately feel the difference, this is weight. Crafts are stamped from a 0.5-0.7 mm sheet and such a sink then rattles under running water and "walks" under mechanical stress. This is a simple, one might even say unsophisticated sink, consisting of a medium-sized bowl and an impressive size of the "wing". It was installed in place without any problems, on a light gray tabletop it looks beautiful and strict. Its main advantage is the thickness and quality of steel. The millimeter thickness gives the sink a noticeable weight, excellent rigidity and relatively low noise under running water. As for the quality of steel, everything is fine here - non-magnetic steel 18-10, which contains 10% chromium and 10% nickel, is the best material for this kind of equipment. It has the highest chemical resistance, mechanical strength and excellent cleaning properties. The sink makes less noise than thinner and cheaper counterparts, but the sound still seemed too loud to me. I did additional soundproofing using sheet material for soundproofing a car. |
