It would have served much longer if it had not been used so many times to light a cigarette and not forget to turn off the light))) I bought it because the original (factory) one was the same - it lasted almost 10 years!!! The next one worked flawlessly for 4 years + 2 months (even though one year it ran on 1 working glow plug - we found out by chance + for some time the alternator did not charge + it was constantly operating in start/stop mode - drove on the route work/store/home +/- 7km Died suddenly, but not completely))) use Varta 574012068 month or more i recommend it should buy |
I bought a car in Poland, replaced the battery at a service in Germany in 2013. Today is 2020 and I only noticed signs of performance drop. I consider 7 years of flawless operation a good indicator for a battery (F17 80Ah). I will replace it with the same one or from the Silver line. There are many offers on the market, but unfortunately, there are many fakes too. Buying a non-original one, disappointment is inevitable. The genuine Varta deserves attention. Studying reviews, I'm more and more coming to the conclusion that they're selling us junk under any brands. Everything bought "there" (in Europe) is expensive but lasts about 10 years! Everything bought "here" (CIS, Ukraine) dies immediately! The VARTA battery in the truck bought in 2005 is starting to wear out. What to do, what to replace it with, I have no idea. From experience, anything bought "here" dies in a year at best! The last ones that somehow pleased were MUTLU bought in 2004 and lasted 3.5 years, but honestly! No matter if it's minus 20 or minus 30, they worked like crazy. The latest MUTLU also die in a year and don't work at all, and are MUCH LIGHTER THAN THE OLD ONES!!! Purchased abroad (in Europe) work excellently and for a long time (up to 10 years). What you bought from us... often can't even be called a battery... it just doesn't work for more than a year! use Varta Blue Dynamic month or more |
