Affordable and simple mechanical blood pressure monitor with built-in metal stethoscope for self-use. Designed for accurate measurement of blood pressure by the Korotkoff method, which is recognized worldwide and is the standard of adequacy (WHO reference method). Unlike the oscillometric method used in automatic models, it provides high resistance to heart rhythm disturbance and arrhythmia does not interfere with obtaining an accurate result.

The Korotkov method is less demanding on the state of complete immobility of the arm on which measurements are performed, and vibration, which does not significantly affect the correctness of the readings. The Vega VM-210 mechanical tonometer is suitable for use at home and in an outpatient setting. It must be remembered that this method requires training and some practice. Also, it cannot be used by people with hearing impairments and poor eyesight. It is a fully mechanical design. It has no electronic components that require power and is always ready to go.
