Purchased in March 2023, model at 650 W. Heavy and durable, judging from the surface inspection and videos I've seen before, it has excellent capacitors in the PSU. After six months, no complaints; the PC with it works mainly in 3D rendering 24/7. It’s safe to import a system with a 3060 at 170 W and a 5600G processor. Required bulo brother 750 W :D ![]() |
Bought Zalman GigaMax GV II at 650W on Brain. The next day, it arrived at the Nova Poshta branch. The Brain store did a great job packing it. It operates quietly. The wires have a distinct "China" smell, are black in color, and even come wrapped quite nicely; they're long enough with plenty of extra length. For the money, it’s the best option at a true 650 watts. (approximately 52.50 EUR) YouTube reviews say it has decent components, I'll check in 5 years. Yes, it comes with a 5-year warranty, while competitors offer a maximum of 3 years. You won't be able to check the condition at the post office because there is a manufacturer's seal on the box. ![]() |
A solid unit, hefty and seems well-made, but the cooler was disappointing. 5-year warranty Dark-colored wires, convenient for cable management. The cooler is making noise, producing strange sounds. It's not very loud, but if you're sitting without headphones, it can get on your nerves. ![]() |

Energy-Efficient Recipe
The Zalman GigaMax ZM550-GVII power supply combines proven technologies to provide stable and reliable power for entry-level and mid-range PCs. With 540W on the +12V rail, it is sufficient for the full operation of a system, whether for media content work, gaming, design, code compilation, or animation creation. Compliance with international standards is confirmed by the 80+ Bronze certification and a five-year manufacturer warranty. Active PFC boosts efficiency up to 88%, minimizing energy loss and heat emission. An additional DC-DC circuit ensures stable 12V, and a comprehensive set of protective mechanisms (OTP, OCP, UVP, OVP, OPP, SCP) prevent any risks, although the Surge and Inrush protection (SIP) system is missing. High-temperature capacitors resistant to stress are used for enhanced reliability, and an electromagnetic filter at the input reduces noise levels.
Quiet Rotation
This model does not feature an automatic fan speed control system (AFC), so the fan operates at constant speeds, producing a moderate noise level within 25 dB. The fan uses a hydrodynamic bearing with a claimed lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. The chassis design is optimized for effective airflow, aiding in cooling components. Flexible flat black cables make routing through hidden spaces easier and help organize the internal space of the system unit. However, compared to similar models from other brands, the power supply's price remains relatively high.
