The ZTE branded 3G/LTE modem, which externally resembles a USB flash drive, can be categorized as a mid-range solution. The device is designed to connect a computer or laptop to the internet when there are no available Wi-Fi or cable networks. Moreover, thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module, the model can also function as a router. However, one should keep in mind that the internet "distribution" range does not exceed 10 meters and is limited to 10 connected devices.

The ZTE MF79 modem supports three cellular network generations relevant to our country (from 2G to 4G) and various data transmission technologies used in them, including EDGE, W-CDMA, and LTE. The device is classified as Cat.4, thus the maximum data transmission speed can reach up to 150 Mbps. To use the device, you need to insert a SIM card, connect via USB to the device that needs internet access, and go through an intuitive and quick setup process. Thanks to the presence of a microSD memory card slot (supports storage up to 32 GB), the model can also serve as a flash drive. Other features include clear operational indicators and the lightweight nature of the product (only 32 grams).
