The Parkside brand specializes in the production of various tools and equipment, more suitable for home use, but sometimes also used by professionals. A wide range of products is presented, including power tools, cordless solutions, hand tools, garden equipment, as well as various accessories and consumables. All these products are highly popular among a wide range of consumers due to their good price-quality ratio.

Parkside power tools feature a dark green colour scheme with black and red accents. This makes them similar to other German brands – Metabo (which uses a darker shade of green) and Bosch (which uses a brighter green colour). There is also a range of higher-performance Parkside solutions available in gray and black with red accents. Plus, some models are limited edition and feature a gray and black colour scheme with bright green accents.

The exact date of Parkside's appearance on the market is unknown, presumably it happened in 2005. The trademark is owned by the German supermarket chain Lidl. Since it does not have its own production facilities, the German tool manufacturer Einhell was initially responsible for production and development. Subsequently, other third-party companies began to assemble products. It should be noted here that Einhell cordless tools use battery systems that are not compatible with Parkside.

Initially, only a limited set of titles was presented. But their success with consumers determined the future of the brand, and the product portfolio began to expand rapidly. Thanks to Lidl's huge network of stores, Parkside products are easily available to customers in different countries. Instruments are often sold as part of special promotions, which makes them even more attractive in price.

Lidl stores usually only have a small section of Parkside products, often in limited quantities. At the same time, the range is updated weekly, and messages about the availability of weekly offers are usually published in advance on the website and in other advertising channels of Lidl. In addition to distribution, the supermarket chain also handles advertising and warranty issues.
