The Ryobi RLM-18X33B40 lawn mower is designed for cutting grass in areas that are constantly maintained. It is more convenient than network models because it does not have wires that interfere with maneuvering between trees, bushes and flower beds. This model copes well with “English” and rolled lawns, on which grass grows at a small height, which needs to be cut once or twice a week. But if you rarely mow the grass, and therefore the area is thoroughly neglected, and forbs 20–30 cm high have grown on it, then the engine will not have enough power. For unkempt lawns, it's best to get a traditional corded mower like the Ryobi RLM-13E33S, or buy a Ryobi RBC-1226I trimmer.

With a moderate working width (33 cm), the mower is easy to maneuver. It weighs little (7.5 kg), so it is easy to push forward or unfold in place. Women, teenagers and elderly people can work with this device without any problems.

The device is equipped with a removable combination bag with a volume of 35 liters. There is an indicator on the lid of the grass catcher that allows you to monitor its filling. Instead of a bag, you can install a grass mulching attachment (it is included in the kit). The charge lasts for about 20 minutes of operation - enough to mow 2 acres of lawn with short grass (but if its height reaches 20 - 30 cm, the battery will be depleted in 5 - 10 minutes). The package includes two batteries necessary for operating the lawn mower. Each of them has a capacity of 4 Ah. Two fully charged batteries provide approximately 35 minutes of battery life (you can mow about 250 m² of lawn). The only pity is that there is only one charger included - you cannot charge two batteries at the same time.

The Bosch Rotak 32 Li lawn mower is a battery-powered analogue of the very popular corded model Bosch Rotak 32, only more “advanced” due to the absence of wires. It can mow lawns in strips 32 cm wide. An interesting feature that distinguishes this unit from previous generations of Bosch mowers is the side guides, which are located immediately behind the front wheels. They “pick up” the grass stems and direct them under the deck - where a sharp knife cuts off all excess. Thanks to these guides, you can cut lawns close to fences and borders without leaving any uncut areas.

Modern Bosch lawn mowers are distinguished by well-thought-out ergonomics, and this model is no exception. It has comfortable Ergoflex handles, thanks to which the mower's arms and back are not strained during operation and are in a healthy position. There is a special handle on the body that allows you to lift and carry the mower with one hand.

The device has wide wheels, and it itself is quite light (only 10.2 kg), so the grass is not damaged when the mower moves across the lawn. Thanks to the special shape of the blade edges, 99% of the mown vegetation ends up in the grass catcher. Its volume, by the way, is not very large (31 liters), so the container is filled with grass after processing approximately 1 - 1.5 acres. There are only three mowing height settings (ranging from 30 to 60 mm), but such settings are enough for everyday tasks. True, the regulator with which the height is changed is slightly “problematic”. It is made of plastic and may break if you apply excessive force to it. Therefore, the regulator handle should be handled with care. The capacity of the included battery (4 Ah) is enough to mow 2 - 3 acres of lawn at a time (depending on the juiciness and thickness of the grass, as well as the mowing height).

The manufacturer recommends using Bosch Rotak 32 Li for lawn care up to 300 m2. For larger lawns, the Bosch range of garden equipment includes cordless lawn mowers with a larger working width: Bosch Rotak 37 Li and Bosch Rotak 43 Li 2x4 Ah.

Like some other modern cordless lawn mowers, the Karcher LMO 36-46 is equipped with a brushless motor. It is more compact, lighter, more reliable and more powerful than conventional motors. In addition, such engines use battery power more efficiently, “stretching” it longer. It is thanks to the presence of a brushless motor that Karcher managed to “shove” the Push Assist function - an auxiliary drive onto the left rear wheel. It does not turn the lawnmower into a completely self-propelled machine, but it helps to overcome obstacles and climbs along the way.

The cutting height can be adjusted from 20 mm to 70 mm. There are small combs on the sides of the body, which, like a rake, “rakes up” the vegetation, sending it under the deck - right under the knife. This feature allows you to mow grass close to fences and curbs. All mown is sent to a combination bag with a fill indicator. It has a large volume (55 liters) so that you are less likely to be distracted by shaking out the grass, but it can be folded so that the mower takes up less space when stored. You can mow lawns without a bag. If you install a mulching plug instead, the mowed vegetation will be finely chopped and poured back onto the lawn as organic fertilizer.

The lawn mower is powered by a battery with a large capacity of 5 Ah. In the most economical mode (cutting dry lawn grass to a length of 1 - 2 cm), its charge can be extended over as much as 650 m2 of area. The mower has a display that shows the remaining charge (in percentage or minutes of operation). The same battery is suitable for 36-volt cordless vacuum cleaners, high-pressure washers, garden blowers, chain saws and other types of Karcher equipment that are worth acquiring for caring for your home and garden.

In terms of characteristics, the DeWALT DCMW564P2-QW cordless lawn mower is not inferior to either corded or even many gasoline-powered devices. It is equipped with a powerful and durable brushless motor that uses battery power more efficiently than conventional motors. Therefore, this mower has a large working width (it mows the lawn in strips 51 cm wide) and high performance necessary for caring for more or less large lawns.

The manufacturer paid a lot of attention to the reliability and durability of the device. The lawn mower has a durable steel body coated with powder paint to protect against rust. The wheels are mounted on bearings (and not on plastic bushings, like many other models). Of course, due to the metal deck, the device turned out to be heavy - as much as 27 kg (with such a weight, a wheel drive would not be a problem). Women and older people may find it difficult to work with. To make it convenient to lift such a “bandura” (for example, when loading it into the trunk), special handles are provided on the body.

This mower cuts grass perfectly, efficiently and quickly coping with lawns of any thickness. The cutting height can be adjusted from 25 mm to 86 mm (there are 5 lever positions). The grass clippings are collected in a large 55-liter grass catcher. But you can work without it, because the kit includes a mulching attachment. Standard batteries have a large capacity (5 Ah), but even larger batteries (with a capacity of up to 12 Ah inclusive) can fit into the corresponding compartment of the mower. Using the included batteries, the mower can operate for approximately 30–40 minutes at full power without stopping.
