Pushchairs with a rearward and forward facing seat

— a feature found in pushchairs with seat units (see "Design") - pushchairs, universal pushchairs and transformers. In such pushchairs, the seat can be fixed in one of two positions: facing the parent (against the movement) or facing away from the parent (towards the movement). Each option has its own advantages: in the first case, the kid and the parent can see each other, in the second — the kid can look at the world around him/her without interference. It should be noted that such functions as the reversible handle and the swivel unit play a similar role — and they allow you to change the position of the seat unit without removing it (often on the move), which makes them more convenient. On the other hand, these features noticeably complicate the design of the pushchair and reduce its reliability. Therefore, they are much less common than the possibility of fastening the main unit in two positions.
