Models from this category have three distinctive features. The first is a colour reproduction level of at least 8 bits + FRC (see "Colour Depth"), which allows you to effectively display numerous shades. The second is high-end matrices, more advanced than TN-Film. The third point is the response time of more than 2 ms: this feature distinguishes "designer" monitors from specialized gaming screens.

Note that such models may differ in other fundamental performance characteristics — for example, colour gamut (see the relevant paragraph). So when choosing a professional screen, you should pay attention to detailed descriptions.
