Vacuum cleaners with a nozzle for water suction
Water suction
— the ability to use a vacuum cleaner to suck spilt water and other liquids. The advantage of this function is obvious: it allows you to remove not only ordinary dirt but also moisture. At the same time, the vacuum cleaner handles with this task much faster than rags and other improvised means. It can be a real salvation in some situations — for example, if a lot of liquid has spilt. The disadvantage of such models is traditional — additional design complexity and high cost.
By definition, water suction is available in all washing vacuum cleaners (see "Product type"), but this is not limited to this — this feature can also be provided for in units with only dry cleaning. This combination of characteristics means that the vacuum cleaner can draw in water but does not have a system for spraying it (this is the main difference from washing vacuum cleaners). However, water for wet cleaning can also be sprayed manually — although this is not as convenient as using a washing vacuum cleaner.
