Five fan heaters for fast and efficient space heating

Household appliances from the Saturn brand have found popularity among compatriots due to the affordable cost. At the same time, the manufacturer provides a two-year warranty for most of its products, which can be a profitable investment in replenishing the fleet of home devices with inexpensive and high-quality equipment.

The ST-HT8341 model is a true classic of the fan heater family with characteristic body shapes and rotary switches for operation control. One of the knobs allows you to select the operating mode of the device: full power (2000 W), half power (1000 W) and blowing without heating (replaces the fan in the hot summer heat). The second rotary controller is responsible for setting the desired heating temperature, which is then maintained by the fan heater at the same level using the built-in thermostat.

The device is designed for heating rooms with an area of up to 20 m². Moreover, for a faster and more uniform distribution of heated air flows, it implements a rotary system with a rotation angle of about 90 °. The Saturn ST-HT8341 uses an open electric spiral as a heating element. If dust and other small particles get on it, an unpleasant smell may appear.

The fire safety of the fan heater is guaranteed by the protection of the heating element from overheating. And most importantly, the model is light and compact, especially in comparison with bulky oil radiators. You can transfer it from one room to another for a recess in the case. There is no better option for such a low price on the modern market.

The Hyundai product successfully disguises itself as a stylish radio receiver — the characteristic round holes in the ventilation grille resemble a grid in front of the speaker, and the only rotary knob on the case asks to switch the radio station with its help.

In fact, the mechanical regulator acts as a switch of the operating modes of the heating device — from the off state to ventilation without heating or operation at maximum power (1300 watts). In the latter mode, the fan heater can create comfortable conditions in a room with an area of about 13 m².

The device functions as long as the corresponding mode of its operation is activated, since there is no thermostat in the equipment of the fan heater. The noise is acceptable (68.5 dB) and does not interfere even during sleep. In addition, the device can be operated in rooms with high humidity — the body of the model is protected from moisture according to the IP24 standard.

On the market, Hyundai H-FH3-15-U9209 is presented in three different "clothes": classic white, grey with blue edging and red with white edging. The last two options look very stylish live, emphasizing the individuality of the model and increasing its attractiveness in the eyes of potential buyers.

Heating devices under the Timberk brand have proven themselves in the best way. This is confirmed by the fan heater with the TFN T15NTX model index, which is enclosed in a spectacular rectangular case and quickly raises the temperature in small rooms to comfortable values.

The compact dimensions of the device (18x21x9.5 cm) allow it to be operated both on the floor and on elevations. With the desktop installation method, the device is transformed into a stylish interior element with a reference to retro design. In the appearance of the model, only the bright orange mode selector switch in the black version of the device attracts too much attention. The modification of the grey colour is devoid of this drawback.

The tasks of heating the room in which the fan heater is supposed to be operated are assigned to the shoulders of a metal-ceramic heating element operating in power modes of 1500 watts and 1000 watts. Its operation can also be forcibly stopped by turning the device into a classic fan.

The extended functionality of the model includes frost protection — automatic activation of heating when the room temperature drops below +5 °C, which protects the walls of the room from freezing (relevant for dachas in the cold season). The model works quietly, without attracting too much attention to itself, but at first the smell of plastic slightly blows from the device. In general, Timberk TFN T15NTX is a very decent fan heater model with an attractive price—quality ratio.

Reference. An elementary rule of thumb helps to approximately determine the required heater power for a specific area: each kilowatt of power of the device allows you to heat 10 m² of the room.

The heating device is based on a ceramic heating element that does not dry the air in the room and does not burn oxygen. It can operate in two modes: at full power (2000 watts) and at half power (1000 watts). In the summer, it is possible to turn off the heater altogether, which turns the device into a regular fan. At the beginning of operation, the operation of the fan heater is often accompanied by a persistent smell of plastic, but after a few hours of continuous blowing, the smell is nullified. Therefore, although the model has a minus, but over time it disappears by itself.

The Swiss brand Stadler Form has always been famous for its non-standard approach to the appearance of its products. Technically, they are also doing very well, which is once again confirmed by a close acquaintance with the Stadler Form Anna Little fan heater.

The device is built on the basis of a ceramic heater, in front of which a preliminary air filter is installed to delay dust and other small debris. The fan blades of the model are located with a slight shift in the vertical plane, so that the heated air spreads diagonally upwards. Sitting in front of the fan heater, you can quickly warm up in one of its two power modes: 1200/700 watts.

The red LED on the front panel signals the operation of the heater. In the event of a rollover, the indicator goes out, making it clear that the automatic shutdown of the device was triggered when falling. All other controls (a pair of buttons and a thermostat wheel) are concentrated on the back of the case. The designations near them are unintuitive, as a result of which it is quite difficult to understand in which mode the fan heater is functioning at the moment.

The model confidently handles with the heating of premises with an area of 12-15 m². For larger rooms in the model range of the Swiss brand there is a similar version of the fan heater without the prefix Little in the name. Stadler Form Anna A-020E has a maximum power of 2000 watts, and this already allows us to talk about effective heating of premises with an area of more than 20 m². The manufacturer asks for a lot of money for both models, which is compensated by their remarkable appearance and reliable service on guard against the cold.
