Lenovo is a Chinese manufacturer with a worldwide reputation that they rightfully deserve. The low-cost laptop model of the popular Ideapad 320 15 line (IKB 80XL03G9RA) is an excellent family version of a multimedia centre for study, work and entertainment.

The laptop is presented in a pleasant to the touch plastic matte case with compact dimensions of 378x260x22.9 mm, but not the lightest weight of 2.2 kg. For a teenager or a fragile girl, carrying one in a backpack or bag will not be an easy task.

However improved ergonomics and an abundance of colours somewhat compensate for this shortcoming. There are as many as 6 of them to choose from: red, white, blue, lilac, black and metallic grey. The case does not collect fingerprints, and rounded edges give the laptop elegance. Separately, we note a comfortable keyboard with a large distance between the buttons, and a touchpad with a smooth response.

The screen received a TN + film matrix with high resolution (1920x1080 pixels) and anti-glare coating. Viewing angles are better than those of SVA matrices, and yet, if the person sitting at the laptop will definitely be comfortable, then those who are nearby will not be very comfortable.

The Ideapad 320 15 (IKB 80XL03G9RA) received a fairly fast Intel Pentium 4415U processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz, despite the presence of only two cores. Increases the performance of DDR4 RAM with the ability to expand the base 4 GB up to 20. In terms of switching, we see an obvious nod to innovation in the device: there are no old-fashioned VGA and USB 2.0 ports, but we have 2 USB 3.0 connectors and one Type C.

As for the sound in the speakers, although it is stereo, it leaves much to be desired, namely, high frequencies are abundant, and low frequencies are present only theoretically. The situation is somewhat better in headphones, but even here a lot depends on the model.

The weight of the device is 2.1 kg with rather compact dimensions of 381.6x259x21.6 cm due to the fact that its body is made of thick, durable plastic, which does not creak or flex when pressed hard, which, for example, some Lenovo models that are close in cost sin.

The screen resolution is 1366x768 pixels, however, the difference in picture quality compared to Full HD in everyday processes: surfing the web, watching videos, reading on a diagonal of 15.6" is practically not noticeable to the naked eye. You can see it only in cases where high detail of the image is required.

The matte finish protects the eyes from glare, but somewhat hides the saturation of the image. The features of the TN matrix and the integrated Intel HD Graphics 505 video chip allow you to enjoy watching movies, simple toys, but you won’t be able to work professionally in graphic editors or play demanding games.

The Aspire 3 A315-31 has very good performance thanks to a 1.1-2.5GHz quad-core Intel Pentium N4200 and a 128GB SSD. The volume of the latter, of course, is small, but it should be enough for software, and you can use cloud storage or external hard drives to store information. Also important is the fact that the base 4 GB of RAM can be increased up to 12 GB.

The switching ports have everything you need, except for the modern USB Type C and the almost obsolete VGA, so students will not be able to connect to outdated monitors that are still available in some educational institutions, and many new smartphones will have to be connected via a USB Type adapter C — Type A.

The pre-installed OC Linux will be a balm for opponents of Windows and those who like to stand out from their background. The battery life of the car will also please. Another reason for the more than 2 kg weight is a capacious battery, which will easily last for 6.5 hours at full resource. However it will not be possible to replace it with a new one as it wears out, because it is non-removable.

Dell is an American corporation that has been producing computer equipment for many years. The Inspiron 15 3552 (I35P45DIW-60) is a well-balanced low-cost laptop for home entertainment, study and work.

The body of the model is made of durable matte black plastic. The dimensions of 380x260x21.7 mm allow you to freely carry the laptop in a bag or backpack, but the weight (2.14 kg) could, perhaps, be less if it were not for the built-in DVD RW drive. Along with such archaism, the protection of the case and keyboard from moisture seems to be a doubly valuable feature.

The screen of the model is the most common: a TN + film matrix with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. But with a diagonal of 15.6", it makes no sense to worry about a bad picture: the differences from Full HD are almost imperceptible. Glossy coating makes colours more vivid and rich.
