There are two types of 1/4" and 5/8" threads on the case for connecting the tripod, but the tripod itself is purchased separately.

German Bosch is famous for equipment and tools that have high accuracy and reliability. The PLL 360 0603663020 level is a reliable home assistant with a good set of functions and additional devices, at a price of about $ 170.

The device is relatively compact and not heavy (125x85x70 mm, 500 g), so it can be worn on a belt in a case, complete with which it is sold.

The rotary holder (also included in the package) makes it possible to hang the device, put it on any surface, and the function of the elevator is to adjust the height.

The PLL 360 has a 1/4" thread, so it can be installed either on a special tripod or any tripod.

The red control key and the logo on the green case look bright and attractive. In general, the product is of high quality, but it cannot be used in a room with a temperature below +5 °C. It is not necessary to allow operation at above +40 °C.

PLL 360 builds two planes, while projecting a horizontal one by 360°, so it is convenient for them to make markings for wall cladding, panel mounting. The Lock button allows you to work with inclined projections, but the pendulum is not blocked.

Red rays projected by two emitters, with a wavelength of 635 nm, give clear lines that can be seen indoors at a distance of up to 10 metres. On the street in clear weather, the visibility of the beam drops to 2-3 metres. Tilt angle errors are traditionally automatically aligned to 4°. Auto-tuning of the laser is performed within 4 seconds, and while the device is not installed in the level, the laser will not turn on, or turn off if the level is lost.

For home construction work, the PLL 360 has quite enough functions, but errors in the accuracy of the projection display up to 4 mm by 10 m make the device unsuitable for work, for example, electricians who require greater accuracy. For such a price, this is a disadvantage. I also did not like the fact that the vertical radiator is not fixed after the device is turned off. There is a risk that over time it will break.

In terms of battery life, too, not the most impressive indicators. 4 AA batteries provide the level with autonomous operation for up to 12 hours. Well, traditionally for Bosch, the tool is offered in several configuration options, with a tripod, a holder and a tripod, a holder and a barbell.

In order to successfully apply the level at long distances (up to 50 m) or on a well-lit platform, it is necessary to use a special receiver, such a mode is provided.

For those who forget to turn off the devices after work, there is an auto-off function that turns off the level after five minutes of inactivity.

The device has a 1/4" thread for mounting on a special or tripod, but the tripod itself is not included in the package. But there is a magnetic holder, which greatly facilitates operation in hard-to-reach places and at altitude.

The level works from 3 AA batteries and consumes very little energy. You will have to replace the batteries only after 35 – 40 hours of operation. But the pendulum of the radiator is not blocked when turned off. So, you need to be extremely careful when transporting, even despite the presence of a case.

Of course, the DW088K will be useful both at home and on the scale of a large construction site. In the second case, the price is not scary, but for household purposes, perhaps it would still be wiser to find a cheaper device.
