Our review opens with a relatively inexpensive mouse, which nevertheless boasts excellent features and ease of operation. We are talking about the standard X7 line, well known to many gamers. Almost the perfect combination of low-cost price and quality.

A4 Tech X7 is equipped with a laser sensor with a maximum resolution of 2500 dpi, which, of course, is far from a record, but it is great for games of various genres, providing high accuracy of guidance. The connection interface is standard – USB. Among the additional advantages, it is worth noting the presence of a rubberized insert under the thumb, which allows you to easily hold the device in your hand.

It has 7 buttons: a standard set of PCM, LCM and a wheel, as well as double-click buttons, sensor resolution changes and two additional ones under the thumb, to which the user can independently transfer the controls he needs.

The matte finish of the mouse is pleasant to the touch. According to user reviews, the device retains excellent technical characteristics for a long period of operation: the buttons do not stick, the rubberized insert does not wear out. A convenient shape, stands for the little finger and thumb in combination with black matte plastic make the mouse head and shoulders above its competitors, if it is about ease of use. The maximum resolution of the sensor is 3200 dpi, which allows you to be one step ahead of your rivals. Together with proprietary software that can be downloaded on the manufacturer's website, you can easily configure macros, for which, by the way, 160 KB of internal memory is allocated.

The number of buttons, counting the wheel, is 8. The huge resolution allows you to perfect the accuracy and speed of the cursor, which can provide a skilled user with a huge gap from rivals. Thanks to the gold-plated USB connector and noise filter, the player's commands will be instantly processed, which will give an additional advantage compared to conventional mice.

And now about the appearance. The device is made of standard matte plastic, which, unlike glossy, does not show fingerprints and streaks, which allows the device to look good even after prolonged use. The mouse has ergonomic shapes, without special bulges and additional finger supports, which, to be honest, are not suitable for all users. The design is simple and convenient, the device will comfortably lie in almost any hand. As additional chips, it is worth noting the presence of weights that allow you to adjust the weight of the device, which allows you to choose the optimal value for a certain game genre.

It should be noted that an excessively large sensor resolution may seem inconvenient and unnatural for players who have not previously used devices with such parameters. But just a couple of days and you will never want to go back to ordinary mice.

Many players have at least once heard about the products of Razer, which creates advanced gaming manipulators. From the entire model range, our review included a rather highly specialized mouse that was specially designed for the MMO genre. This does not mean that it cannot be used in other games, but in this case it is unlikely to reveal the full potential and power of the device.

Razer Naga is a laser wired mouse with a USB connection interface. The sensor frequency is an exorbitant 8200 dpi, which gives us tremendous accuracy and speed of guidance. The material from which the mouse is made is a matte plastic that is pleasant to the touch, and the rubberized scroll wheel allows you to make error–free and accurate scrolls.

The device has an ergonomic design, without much frills, as well as a green LED backlight. As an additional feature, it is worth noting the little finger stand.

The main feature of this device is the presence of 12 mechanical thumb buttons, which will greatly facilitate the user's life in various MMO games. The buttons have different shapes, which makes it easier to find them blindly, and mechanical switches make it clear that the button was activated – pressing is accompanied by a characteristic click.

Razer products have always had a convenient and understandable proprietary software that can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website and with its help turn the mouse into a weapon that has no equal.

Mad Catz R.A.T. 7

Mad Catz is not such a well-known manufacturer as Razer or A4 Tech, but their devices have always been very different from devices from other manufacturers.

The mouse that got into our review looks like it was assembled at the terminator factory. Such ergonomics may not seem convenient to every user at first because of unusual shapes. But at the same time, you can adjust the weight of the device, its dimensions and even the angles of inclination of the shelves for the thumb and little finger – all the necessary "tools" are initially included in the package.

Among other chips, it is worth noting two scroll wheels and additional thumb buttons, which, by the way, are quite convenient for pressing. The device has a matte finish, which allows you to maintain a marketable appearance for a long time. The connection interface is USB. The mouse is wired, unlike its older brother Mad Catz R.A.T. 9, which works via Bluetooth. But there are tangible advantages in this – you do not need to worry about the battery charge.

As a filling, this gaming monster uses a laser sensor with a resolution of 5600 dpi, which is enough for any games. There are no mechanical buttons, like the Razer Naga, here. This is compensated by an aggressive design and the ability to fully customize the mouse for yourself. Note that in full gear the weight is 850 g, which makes the device one of the heaviest on the market.

But as for the configuration of proprietary software, then, according to user reviews, from time to time there are problems with its installation – you have to pretty much "conjure" to achieve the desired result.

In general, it's an amateur mouse. It has many advantages and interesting features, in the form of an accurate aiming mode, customizable weight and size, programmable keys and a metal case. But not every user will need an almost kilogram device with two scroll wheels and customizable dimensions.
