The backrest angle is adjustable (three positions), but the chair cannot be reclined for comfortable sleeping. The seat can be set at one of six height positions; the lowest position allows a grown child to safely sit and stand independently.

The footrest is removable, its angle adjustable, and its height changeable (three positions), but the footboard itself is not very wide.

The cover is made of faux leather and is easy to clean even without removing it. The seat and backrest are soft.

The Piero Deluxe has a five-point harness system, but shoulder pads are not included. The crotch restraint attaches to the tray (and removes with it).

The seat height above the floor is adjustable (six positions), and the tray can be set at three distances from the backrest. However, the footrest is not a strong point of this chair. Metal legs are attached to the frame, with wheels in the rear for moving the chair. However, due to the design features, transporting a child in it is inconvenient: the wheels are deeply recessed, requiring a significant tilt.

Safety is ensured by a five-point harness and a crotch restraint attached to the removable tray. Remarkably, even the smallest children can be secured with the harness.

The seat has three recline positions, one of which allows even an older child to nap, although no feeding chair can truly replace a real bed.

The footrest can be tilted, and the footboard can be set to one of three positions or removed altogether.

Safety is also well thought out. Yes, five-point harnesses are found in almost all feeding chairs, and the crotch restraint is common too, but the CAM Istante has it attached to the seat, not the tray, so it stays in place even when the tray is removed.

The height adjustment of the seat is one of the nice touches of the Istante model. To raise it, just pull up on any part. Lowering requires pressing a latch; when released, the seat automatically locks at the next position rather than dropping to the floor.
