1. Tool class;

  • P — this letter is from the German word Personlich (personal) — a household tool has a green colour;
  • G — Grottechnisch (industrial) is a professional device with a blue case.

2. The second character (or 2-3) is the type of grinder;

3-4. Power and diameter of the working circle;

5. At the end, a set of options (one letter for each):

  • H — ordinary handle;
  • B — handle in the form of a brace;
  • J — soft start function (inrush current limitation);
  • V — vibration protection of the housing;
  • L — reduced weight (maximum power per unit of mass in the class);
  • I — limited inrush current and protection against accidental activation;
  • E — speed control function;
  • C — system for maintaining power while increasing workloads;
  • T — increased torque with adjustable frequency;
  • X — engine brake after shutdown.
