We independently test the products and technologies that we recommend.

The characteristics of the products from the review are provided for visual comparison in the summary table of charging stations with the UPS function. You can independently select a charging station in the corresponding section of the catalog. And "How to choose a charging station" - read in the material of the same name.

The Allpowers R600 portable power station is designed to work with computer equipment and household appliances with a total power of up to 600 W. The model can withstand peak power increases of up to 1200 W(on a short-term basis).
In full load mode, the charge of the lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 299 W*h is enough for about half an hour of autonomous power supply of the connected equipment. But if the load is conditionally 100 W, the station will provide up to 3 hours of autonomy for it. From a standard outlet, the battery charges in literally one hour, from the cigarette lighter in the car - in 1.5 - 2 hours. The model optionally supports the connection of solar panels.
All interfaces are located on the front panel of the device. These are two 18 W USB A ports, a pair of USB type C ports with fast 100 W Power Delivery charging, two full-fledged 230 V sockets, a 12 V cigarette lighter socket, and a pair of DC outputs (also 12 V). Additionally, a 15 W wireless charging zone for gadgets was built into the top panel of the case.
The station has a wireless Bluetooth module for remote monitoring of the status from a smartphone, a detailed information display and a built-in UPS function. The connected load is automatically transferred to power from the internal battery 10-15 ms after the centralized power supply is disconnected. Allpowers R600 will come in handy both at home and in nature far from electrical civilization - the compact dimensions of the case provide the device with mobility.

Unlike the first version of the EcoFlow RIVER charging station, the model with the index "2 Max" has lost its modular design and, accordingly, the ability to increase capacity using an additional battery unit. But it now has a useful UPS function.
In the "uninterruptible power supply" mode, the power of the load connected to the device switches to its own battery in about 30 ms. In this case, the manufacturer recommends removing the plug from the socket after disconnecting the centralized power supply. The power source here is a 512 Wh lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a declared lifespan of over 3000 charge/discharge cycles.
The battery "under the hood" of the station will be able to power a TV for 5-7 hours, a laptop and a router (here the specific autonomy will depend on the gluttony of the laptop), various small household electronics. You can also charge mobile devices from the station. The user has at his disposal a trio of full-size USB ports with an output power of 12 W, one USB type C with fast charging according to the Power Delivery protocol (100 W), two sockets with pure sine voltage, a car cigarette lighter output and two DC connectors of 12 V. Additionally, the device is equipped with XT-60 and X-Stream ports.
The model can handle a nominal power of approximately 500 W and can withstand short-term power surges of up to 1000 W. The station charges from the mains via the aforementioned X-Stream connector in literally one hour. At the same time, its battery can be “refueled” via a USB type C port, from a car cigarette lighter socket or solar panels (optional). The proprietary EcoFlow mobile software is used for remote monitoring and settings. Note that the smartphone app does not have the ability to operate the active cooling system, and it turned out to be quite noisy in the model.

The DJI Power 500 mobile power station was released to operate in two roles: as an autonomous power source for home and computer equipment (up to 500 W), and as a means for quickly charging DJI drones outside the reach of power outlets.
The Mavic 3, Air 3, Inspire 3 and Matrice 30 T drones can be fully charged from the station in about half an hour. Energy is supplied to their batteries via proprietary cables through the SDC connector. Such functionality will come in handy for drone operators and allows them to reduce flight intervals several times - copters will be able to spend more time in the air during a conventional filming day.
In the standard version of use, we see a classic charging station with a 512 Wh lithium-iron-phosphate battery. The device handles a nominal load of up to 500 W, withstands power surges of up to 1000 W, and has an automatic backup function for connected equipment(working as an "uninterruptible power supply" with switching in about 20 ms).
The device's battery charges from a power outlet in 50 minutes (from zero to 80%), from solar cells in about 4 hours, and from a car cigarette lighter in 6 hours. The station is equipped with an info screen, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and the only thing it lacks is 12-port outputs. However, the need for such rarely arises - they were sacrificed for the sake of the aforementioned proprietary SDC connector for charging drones.

In the segment of inexpensive charging stations with a capacity of around half a kilowatt, the Ugreen PowerRoam 600 model looks quite interesting. And here's what's good about it.
The heart of the station is a LiFePO4 battery with a capacity of 680 Wh. In the nominal operating mode, it can supply a constant load of up to 600 W, and at peak, the device can withstand power surges of up to 1500 W. From Ugreen PowerRoam 600, you can set up autonomous operation of a TV, mini-fridge, room lighting, desktop computer and laptop, router and fiber optic terminal.
The accumulated energy reserves in the LiFePO4 battery cells are transferred to consumer devices via two 230 V sockets, a pair of 22.5 W USB A connectors, two USB type C with support for the Power Delivery protocol (100 W), a cigarette lighter socket and a pair of 12 V DC outputs. And via the XT-60 input port, the ability to connect to a solar cell station is implemented.
The model is assembled in a case made of durable fireproof ABS plastic and is equipped with an upper handle for carrying. It takes only 50 minutes to charge the station from a socket from zero to 80%, and about an hour and a half to 100%. In addition, the device has a UPS function for automatic backup of the connected load in case of power outages. And in order not to sit in the dark, the charging station has a built-in light source. It can be turned on and off from the control panel or from a paired smartphone.

BLUETTI charging stations consistently occupy the top positions in popularity. In the entry-level class, the AC60 model, equipped with a 403 Wh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, deserves close attention.
If the capacity of the standard battery is suddenly insufficient, the station supports the connection of up to two BLUETTI B80 battery packs (806 Wh each). In this way, you can create an assembly with a total capacity of more than 2 kWh. The model is capable of handling loads of up to 600 W in nominal operation mode and withstand peak power surges of up to 1200 W.
The device is equipped with two AC sockets with an output voltage of 230 V, a pair of full-size USB ports, one USB type C with 100-watt fast charging via the Power Delivery protocol, a 12-volt car cigarette lighter socket. On the upper platform of the device's body, we managed to carve out a place for a zone for wireless charging of mobile gadgets (15 W).
BLUETTI AC60 supports operation in UPS mode with automatic backup of the connected load in case of power outages, has built-in LED lighting and a screen for monitoring operating parameters. You can charge the station's battery from a socket in about an hour and a half. As a bonus, the model received dust and moisture protection of the IP65 case - the device will not be damaged by either light rain or dirt, so you can safely take it with you on outings into nature.
