Stylish, full-size, spill-resistant gaming keyboard with durable mechanical switches and adjustable LED backlighting. It differs from cheap gaming keyboards with a membrane mechanism by using high-quality Outemu Red mechanical switches, which are an exact copy of the legendary Cherry MX Red linear switches. These switches have an impressive guaranteed life (at least 50 million clicks), actuate with moderate force (40 g), and allow you to easily perform fast repeated clicks with low noise levels.
The 1stPlayer DK5.0 RGB Red Switch keyboard is positioned as a mid-range product aimed at a wide range of beginners and experienced gamers looking for a model with a fast response time and a reasonable price. It is able to register the simultaneous pressing of complex multi-key combinations (N-key rollover), provides filtering of false clicks for impeccably accurate control of the gameplay.
The Fn key in combination with F1-F12 makes it possible to control multimedia functions and backlight (brightness, character of lighting effects). The durable plastic keyboard housing, additionally reinforced with a metal base plate, can withstand significant mechanical stress during emotional gaming sessions without any problems. There is a hardware lock of the Windows key and protection against spillage of liquids (IPx7).
Always clarify the specifications and configuration of the product with the online store manager before purchasing.

The keyboard is quite high-quality, the buttons don't wobble, and it doesn't make excessive noise. However, the white backlight shifts into the purple spectrum. Good value for money. The white backlight color is shifted to the violet spectrum. The previous commenter has the same issue. In reviews of this keyboard, the white color looks actually white, so it's likely we have a defective unit. It can be partially fixed by slightly reducing the red and blue spectrums in the keyboard settings app, but it's not perfect, and some buttons still have green spots in places. I used to have a better keyboard - the Lenovo Legion K500 with red switches for 1200, which had a wrist rest, IMO a more aesthetic design, and significantly better lighting adjustment software. However, it broke after a month, and after another month of waiting for warranty repair, I got a refund. Meanwhile, that keyboard went up to over 2000, and purchasing it for such money is not feasible. The first photo shows the non-working white color. The second one is my attempt to adjust the white. Unfortunately, the green spots aren't visible in the photo, but they're there and spoil the appearance. ![]() |
My first mechanical keyboard (and first backlit keyboard). The disadvantages are not critical. Low price; slightly rubberized feet. The version with red switches is quite quiet (Shift is almost inaudible), great customization options Small keys (I have large hands, but you can get used to it); a few typos in the instructions (barely noticeable); incomplete backlighting on some keys; all backlight colors, except "white," are a bit harsh on the eyes in the dark (the backlight can be turned off). ![]() |
price The backlight is fine, personally, it did not cause me any discomfort. after a long use, the keys that are most often used (in my case, it was mainly wasd and space) begin to perceive pressing poorly and this is very annoying both when entering text and when playing ![]() |
