The monitor was bought purely for gaming. 2K resolution and 144Hz create a completely new experience, the picture is very smooth and yet quite clear even at this resolution. The eyes from the monitor are at a distance of about 70 cm, for me this is the most comfortable position. The monitor is 32 inches, so you won’t sit close, keep this in mind when buying, you need a fairly wide table for it, you will be uncomfortable with it on a standard computer desk. The curved matrix creates a certain effect of immersion in the picture, to be honest, after such a monitor, you already look at the standard flat ones with disdain) The VA matrix pleases, the black color here is really black, the brightness is also more than enough. True, I would also like a response time of 1 ms, but with such a diagonal of a VA matrix and 1 ms, I simply did not find it anywhere. Not critical of course, but for the money I would like to have a full set of all the bells and whistles. I was also a little surprised at the lack of height adjustment, somehow did not pay attention to it during the purchase. The rest of the monitor is very good, I recommend. And yes, I forgot to write that it is connected via the displayport to the RTX 2070, the card pulls all games on ultras at 2K without problems. You really need a powerful video card for this resolution. 2K resolution 144Hz refresh rate curved screen Bright design 4 ms response time, for the money I would like 1 ms no height adjustment, only tilt ![]() |
Quality gaming monitor without frills
Creating the ED323QU gaming monitor, Acer engineers did not go the most popular way. Instead of 4K resolution, ubiquitous backlighting, and other features popular among gamers, they made a relatively simple, large and inexpensive monitor that does its main job well — providing the smoothest and most enjoyable gaming experience.
144Hz curved sensor
All of this is driven by a pure gaming VA curved matrix with a 4ms response time and a 144Hz refresh rate. This figure indicates how many frames per second can be displayed on the display screen. Otherwise, the Acer ED323QU looks like the most modern gaming monitor: a 32-inch screen displays a picture at a resolution of 2560x1440 with a maximum brightness of 250 cd / m2 and colour reproduction of 85% NTSC.
Following the fashion
Additional technology support includes Acer's VisionCare, Flicker-Free vision protection suite, which eliminates the problem of subtle LED flickering and the popular AMD FreeSync feature. Finally, let's praise the appearance of the model: it is made in accordance with the Zero Frame concept, which, thanks to thin side frames, allows you to combine several side-by-side displays into one large screen. The frames on the sides and top are really barely noticeable here, which fully allows us to call this model frameless.
