A small and inexpensive monitor from the Nitro line, designed for use in gaming systems. The model's display is based on a 21.5-inch diagonal IPS-matrix with FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels), which is characterized by a maximum brightness of 250 cd / m² and a response time of 1 ms (GtG with MPRT technology). The frame rate of the panel reaches 75 Hz. Also, the Acer Nitro VG220Q screen was given AMD FreeSync frame rate matching technology (works in conjunction with Radeon video cards). The monitor is equipped with two HDMI-ports version 1.4, analogue VGA-connector, headphone input and output. The power of the standard speaker system on board the model is 4 watts. The characteristic gaming design of the device is proudly nicknamed ZeroFrame. Another distinguishing feature of the monitor...in appearance is thin frames, which contributes to the creation of a configuration of several image output means combined into a single whole. Holes for a VESA-compatible mount on the “fillet” part of the device body make it possible to place the monitor on a wall.

Just the perfect monitor for the money
    24 October 2019
I don't recommend ordering monitors from online stores to anyone, unless, of course, you have nerves of steel to wait for returns for weeks, or you just can't see the backlight bleed, then by all means, go ahead. Initially, I took an Asus bezel-less monitor for 4k UAH at 24 inches, bought it locally at the Comfy store; the choice wasn't extensive there, but I immediately fell in love with that monitor, checked it for backlight bleed and dead pixels, and decided to take it. I came home happy as a clam, spent some time calibrating it, doing this and that, and before I knew it, nighttime came. I decided to watch a movie, and then was extremely disappointed; the backlight bleed was unbelievably bad, making it impossible to watch. The white spots drew all my attention. The next day, I returned that monitor, and that's when I realized that checking for backlight bleed in a brightly lit room is a futile activity. And they don't provide a dark room. That same day, I bought this Acer, it turned out to be better in every way than that Asus, but the main criterion for me was backlight bleed, and even though it had some, it was so minor that I consider it a victory. Actually, this Acer, purchased for 3k UAH, turned out better in terms of color reproduction and navigating through the menu; the stick really does its job. As for the 1ms response time, I didn't feel any difference compared to 4ms, so that mode is useless. 75Hz is also a useless feature, it's likely just an overclocked 60Hz panel. I have an AMD card, so I managed to test FreeSync, and there really were fewer tears.
    Excellent design.
    WLED backlighting.
    No PWM.
    Decent factory color calibration.
Speakers, they are there, and that's already good.
    2 HDMI.
    Navigation joystick for the menu.
In my model, minimal light bleed, but as I know, that's by chance.
    The speakers are small tweeters.
    The stand is not adjustable.
All navigation buttons could be moved to a joystick, and the joystick could be made more convenient.
The matrix is not 8-bit, but 6-bit with technological tricks.
    It's not 40 inches and not 4K.

    Adding to my previous review.
After 1.5 years, spots appeared at the bottom of the screen, looking like water stains. I didn't notice them right away or even think there was an issue with the monitor because they're located on the Windows start panel. I thought it was part of the theme or something else. You can't see them in dynamic content, but when I was watching a series that had a solid orange scene, I spotted these stains. I can't do anything about them; I haven't spilled water on or wiped the monitor. The defect is strange, and I found nothing about it online. When playing games or watching movies with vertical black bars, you don't notice them, so it's manageable. But it did add a bit of negativity to my experience. I didn't buy the monitor just for 1.5 years, hoping it would make me happy for a long time, and now I find myself constantly thinking about replacing it.
I also want to note that there's no FreeSync here, and there can't be. It's all just a marketing ploy. FreeSync only works with DisplayPort or HDMI 2.0, and the monitor has neither, resulting in expected performance. Had I known this, I would have chosen a different monitor.
    iPS flicker-free, reduces eye strain
    everything else
don't buy this monitor and choose a size of at least 24

Appearance, excellent picture, the presence of speakers, a large selection of settings.
The lack of a rotation mechanism (if you find fault). And in fact - no.

    Question about Acer Nitro VG220Qbmiix
    Будут ли проблемы с производительностью?
    Монитор Acer Nitro VG220Qbmiix.
Товар в наличии? Я бы хотел его приобрести, но у меня возник вопрос. Будут ли какие проблемы с производительностью на видеокарте GTX 1060 3gb (и не будут ли проблем в процессоре и в блоке питания)
