I bought the scythe at the end of 2017, in autumn. Worked with it for about 25 hours. What can I say? It's so-so. It starts poorly when cold, you need to pull the cord about 20 times. When warmed up, it starts on the first try. Had some starter problems, they did something to it at the "service center", didn't replace anything. The scythe was with them for 2 weeks. Fuel consumption is acceptable, about 400-500 grams per hour. I use ELF semi-synthetic oil. I have nothing to compare this scythe with, it's my first one. The oil leaks a little from the gearbox. Moderately heavy, I don't get tired using it, but they could have made a shoulder strap for two shoulders for this price. Would I buy it again? I think not. This is my first motokosa, there is nothing to compare. I bought it yesterday in the New Line for 4,498 UAH. I mowed the grass normally without problems, but young cherries about 4-5 mm are no longer taken by the fishing line. Ergonomic and well adjustable instrument
AL-KO FRS 4125 received a straight non-separable rod made of aluminium. As a result, the total weight of the braid does not exceed 7 kg. A shoulder strap is provided to transfer weight from the arms to the torso, and flexible adjustment options are designed to relieve fatigue during prolonged use. Both the length of the belt itself and the optimal place for its suspension on the bar are adjusted.

Efficient and economical
The 2-stroke 900 watt AL-KO FRS 4125 engine paired with a 2 mm diameter line (cutting width 41 cm) handles with basic tasks, including the removal of small undergrowth, mowing dry and wild grass in small areas. Replacing the cutting tool with a 3-bladed knife with a diameter of 25 cm will allow you to mow dense vegetation, stubborn weeds and young shrubs.
Despite the power inferior to many gasoline counterparts, in fact the model is very performant, which is confirmed by numerous reviews. An additional advantage of the power unit for 1.2 “horses” is low fuel consumption: 5 liters of fuel mixture in a ratio of gasoline to oil of 25: 1 is enough for up to 15 hours, therefore, a full 0.7-liter tank will not have to be replenished for more than 2 hours.
The easy start system and automatic shutdown in case of overheating simplifies the operation of the motor.
The disadvantages of the trimmer include serious acoustic discomfort (sound pressure up to 101 dB). If this is not a critical moment (and in the presence of special protective equipment it will be), then the AL-KO FRS 4125 is able to become a flexible and economical garden helper for many years to come.
