I'm happy with the lawn mower. I recommend it to anyone who has a small plot. A good lawn mower for a small area, my husband and I are very pleased. The most important thing for me is that it is very comfortable and not too heavy. And you don’t need to bother with gasoline - just plug it into the socket and go mow :) It is difficult to cope with very tall grass. Well, what if this grass is also wet... So the beginning of the season begins with real torment and scolding of the husband. But then there are no problems, the main thing is not to let the grass grow too tall. But I heard that this model has a lot of plastic not only on the outside, but also on the inside. So I’m afraid that if she bumps into a stone while working, it won’t just be the knife that will be damaged. However, I did not find out whether this was true or not. The AL-KO Silver 34 E Comfort corded lawn mower does not know how to mow lawns completely “bald” (it has a minimum cutting height of 28 mm, while most representatives of this type of garden equipment are around 20 mm). But her adjustment range is no worse than others. There are six fixed height settings (from 28mm to 68mm) so the mower can be adjusted to any lawn. The settings are changed with a lever: one movement forward or backward — and the deck lowers or rises to the desired height. The engine power (1200 W) is quite enough to mow thick lawn grass or forbs from a mixture of different plants, although not at the most impressive speed. But the machine does not cope well with high (and even more humid) vegetation, since long stems, wound around a knife, “switch off” the motor. Therefore, owners of lawn mowers of this model should not run their plots.
Design features
Vegetation, mowed with a sharp knife, is thrown back — directly into the grass collection tank, which is made of plastic and has a volume of 37 liters. There is an indicator on the grass catcher that allows you to monitor the filling of the box without bending over to the mower. It is possible to mow without a grass collector (with a raised rear cover) — in this case, the grass, finely and finely chopped with a sharp knife, is scattered behind the mower.
Other lawn mowers must be lifted with two hands (for example, when carrying or loading into the boot). And this device has a special durable handle on the body for this, and it can be lifted with one hand (of course, if your physical condition allows you to lift 15-kilogram weights).
