The reverse osmosis filter from Aquafilter is designed for deep water purification at home. Such water is completely safe for health, it can be drunk and used for cooking. In addition, the equipment includes a 12-liter tank in which purified water is stored, and a tap for its supply. Aquafilter RX-RO5-H2OO includes 3 flasks and provides 5 stages of water purification. First, the polypropylene cartridge retains insoluble mechanical impurities larger than 5 microns. Then the carbon cartridge neutralizes chlorine and organic matter, which have a negative effect on the membrane fabric.

Fine-pored polypropylene retains the smallest mechanical impurities, including coal dust from the previous cartridge. At the fourth stage, a reverse osmosis membrane comes into play, which removes most of the harmful elements from the water, as well as bacteria and viruses. At the final stage, a post-carbon cartridge (a post-filter made of carbon obtained from coconut shells) neutralizes unpleasant odors and gives the water a sweet taste.
