Asus' affordable 2021 lineup of laptops brings together models designed for work or school. They can handle a variety of relatively simple tasks, including surfing the Internet, participating in video conferences, processing documents, preparing student papers, and providing leisure activities such as watching TV series online. All members of the family feature a 15.6-inch matte screen with wide viewing angles, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB M.2 SSD, and Intel Core processors (2 or 4 cores depending on the configuration) with integrated HD Graphics or Iris Xe Graphics.

At the same time, the basic size of the data storage and the amount of RAM can be optionally increased to suit the existing needs of the user. Laptops Asus X515EA are made in a concise and practical design. So, the thickness of the case does not exceed 20 mm, and the weight is 1.8 kg. Accordingly, it is convenient to take such a laptop with you, carry it in a backpack or bag, use it on a train or plane. Now I’m choosing another laptop, I don’t want to look at this line in the mind above

I took the child to study in the summer of 2022. Literally immediately offered to upgrade to Windows 11, after a third of the screen at the bottom began to flicker. They rolled back Windows to 10 (I thought that the problem was software), but the band, although it began to appear extremely rarely, did not disappear. There may be a problem with the video card or cable. Quite noisy, in comparison with my old Lenovo, it also heats up more strongly, but also more powerfully, which in general is probably justified. Asus has pretty noisy coolers in general.
Excellent screen, bright, contrast, good clarity. Compact size, thin frame, convenient for travel. Lightweight, has 3 pcs. USB.
Warm, noisy. A flickering bar appeared at the bottom of the screen.
