The flagship on-ear headphones of 2022 from the famous English brand Bowers & Wilkins, which is actively working to bring the sound quality of wireless models to the same level as audiophile wired models. The PX8 features 40mm carbon cone drivers that have been successfully tested in the tweeters of B&W 700 series speakers. According to the manufacturer, they provide an excellent combination of ultra-fast attack and low distortion across the entire frequency spectrum, and their level of detail significantly exceeds the critically acclaimed B&W PX7 headphones released in 2019.

Another important feature is the company's proprietary adaptive noise reduction technology, consisting of four microphones and advanced algorithms, which effectively cuts off ambient noise without affecting sound quality in any way. The same ANC was used in the critically acclaimed PX7 S2. In contrast to ANC, the B&W PX8 headphones support transparent mode, multipoint function and can work in hands-free headset mode thanks to two directional microphones built into the earcups.

Headphones belong to the upper price segment, they are distinguished by their original corporate design, comfortable fit and excellent autonomy. Their potential customers are longtime music lovers who are looking for premium wireless headphones at any cost with Hi-Fi sound and an increased level of comfort. The adjustable headband of the device is made of die-cast aluminium and covered with genuine soft leather, the ear cushions have a memory effect and sheathed in soft nappa leather, the bowls turn in any convenient direction, and the total weight of the structure is only 320 grams.

A high-end Bluetooth receiver from Qualcomm (version 5.2, support for the aptX Adaptive codec) is responsible for transmitting sound over the air, which pre-passes the signal through the built-in DSP processor with support for 24-bit depth. When connected wirelessly, the manufacturer promises up to 30 hours of battery life. Fast charging is supported, capable of restoring up to 7 hours of work in 15 minutes. As an alternative to a wireless connection, you can use a good old audio cable with a 3.5mm mini jack.

Headphones with good sound.

After continued disappointment with the ergonomics of the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay h95, I added a replacement price and did not regret it. I want to compare them with them in terms of sound in the mid frequencies, the total destruction of the B&O, the stink here is simply miraculous, the high frequencies are not as jangly as the B&O, but in my opinion it’s not critical, the bass is not so clear and biting, but here and plus the stink is not overwhelming your smells are so sweet like B&O, in terms of depth and bass the stinks here are better than B&O, the stage here is noticeably wider and the stink sounds like it’s on me. When the dart is connected, the stench is much louder. The quality of the assembly is simply marvelous, the materials are excellent and premium, you won’t find any plastic. Comfort - here I would like to show respect - the winner here is with these plastic headphones, as they are lightweight and comfortable, you may not notice the smell on your head, although they do smack quite a bit. The bowls are deep and there is a place for the ears to drink plenty so that the stinks don’t stick to anything. Having been in the clear mode, AirPods Max don’t have a lot of problems with them, but there are no problems with them . I’ll write about the audio jack and charging cable - they are the most basic ones you can find, but not at the end. A cover of three marks (in black color).
