Everything is stated in the Pro's. Only if you have a Niva or a similar car - it might skid a bit even on such good tires, well... In any case, the previous version - Bridgestone 5000 I have on my Niva, they hold well on ice, but on slushy snow, light rear overcomes good tires. I think it'll be the same with Bridgestone 7000. But for cars like my Beemer - superb tires, I tell you. Holds the road perfectly whether on ice or slushy snow. In Siberia, under conditions of ice and snowdrifts, I drive my BMW 525i from 1984 at 100-110-120 km/h on the highway outside the city - no skidding/slipping/jerking side to side. Excellent road handling. Often steer with one hand on the highway, picking my nose or scratching my butt with the other - not once have the tires let me down in terms of handling. Good tires for good cars and cheaper than those expensive Michelins or Nokians. Not detected. Although... A bit noisy, but that's normal for studded tires. use Bridgestone Ice Cruiser 7000 few months i recommend it should buy |
I've used these tires for two seasons already, and now it's the third season, with not a single stud falling out. I mainly drive around the city, so my judgment is based on my experience. On snow - the performance is very good, it didn't even seem to slip. On ice, though, it can be a bit unsure and sometimes slips. The sidewall is strong. You need to be more careful with the gas and brake on icy roads or else you might skid. There's a bit of noise at speeds up to 60 km/h. Not bad directional stability, although my driving style is calm. Reliable and sturdy sidewall, good performance on snow. On ice, it holds a bit weakly, at a low speed of around 60 km/h it becomes noisy, but it's not too critical. ![]() |
I give the tires a 5, for this price they'll suit anyone, even those wild guys)) I recommend it! the rubber fully matches its description, strong and most importantly, reliable rubber. After 2 seasons, I haven't lost a single stud, which I can hardly believe, but it's a fact. Many of my friends complain about losing at least 3-4 studs per season, but here, nothing lost after two seasons. In terms of wear over 2 seasons and approximately 12,000 km of driving, only 25% of the tread is gone, which is a very good indicator. I used to love playing with the handbrake on ice or fresh snow, I think everyone has been there; drifting and so on. Unfortunately, that desire disappeared after the first attempt when the entire car shakes and pulls in all directions; it's impossible to just throw it into a skid, it grips like crazy. the studs click like running cockroaches when the lights are turned on, but nevertheless, I wouldn't call these tires too noisy, there's no crazy rumble, even on clear asphalt. I don't quite understand the complaints of those who say the tires are junk, and not only say but write, claiming they behave inadequately on ice. So you mean to say that the tires should behave adequately??? - and what does that mean? Adequately means according to all the laws of physics and gravity, where you throw it, that's where it flies; the fact is that the inadequacy lies in the car resisting these laws, and that's why you say that. Personally, I find their inadequacy is on dry asphalt during emergency braking, that's true. |
