Smooth adjustment of wraps. Ergonomic. Case included. New mechanics. It wouldn't hurt to cut the cord. ![]() |
This hammer drill surpasses all horizontal "Chinese" ones, and in terms of impact force, both the 2-26 X and Makita. It's a pleasure to work with, hands don’t get tired, and it doesn't hurt the ears. However, you have to replace the cable right away! The mode switch - I hope it will develop over time. The case is okay. If you don't throw it around, it will last for the entire service life of the hammer drill, and in my opinion, it will last long, like all CROWNs. If only the price were lower, Makita and Bosch would be left behind. An excellent armored motor and new modern mechanics make this hammer drill stand out. BUT there are disadvantages! Powerful. Not noisy. Not vibration-loaded. Excellent impact force. Excellent, smooth speed control. The tightest mode switch of all rotary hammers! The cable is exactly 2 meters - Shame! The reverse is a little tight and inaudible. The case stinks at first, but it dissipates in a week or two. ![]() |
Bought six months ago, no complaints, unlike the previous review. For the house and the garage - FIRE. The case is normal, there is nothing for it, the weight is adequate, as for a punch 3.4 J. So far, nothing, lives and God forbid. Used a couple of times, but hard, did not regret and pressed. Value for money , I trust Crown Short cord use Crown CT18108 BMC few months |

As for the Crown CT18108 BMC rotary hammer specifically, it has met all my expectations.
I purchased it before starting facade insulation. It handled all the work perfectly and continues to diligently do so. Facade area - 320 sq.m.
I like the smooth speed adjustment by pressing the button. It is convenient and allows you to drill easily.
The impact force isn't too great, so it's good for breaking small bricks. This allows for drilling at the edge without worrying about chipping away the wall corner. However, the impact force is enough to make it possible to chisel out holes. Of course, for chiseling you need a more powerful impact and not straight rotary hammers, but the so-called "barrel" type. But for home use, this rotary hammer is sufficient.
When choosing, I was compelled by the fact that this rotary hammer's mechanism is different from all other copies of a well-known brand. I haven't disassembled or checked this. There are reviews online with breakdowns.
Conclusion: A wonderful, reliable, productive assistant.
I recommend it.
