Stylish and efficient stationary wireless router (router) of Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standard with a 3G/4G modem and a mini-SIM SIM card slot. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a product of the middle price category, intended for a small suburban private house, a remote office or other facilities that lack the possibility of a cable connection. It is also useful for organizing a fault-tolerant network infrastructure of a basic level.
In this case, the router works with a WAN connection to the provider's network (100 Mbps), and if it fails, it is transferred to the network of any of the east european national mobile operators. The D-Link DWR-921 wireless router is equipped with two external antennas serving the Wi-Fi network, as well as two built-in 4G (LTE) antennas that receive / transmit data in cellular networks.
The Wi-Fi module operates in the 2.4 GHz band and, thanks to support for 2x2 MIMO mode, provides a theoretical peak connection speed of up to 300 Mbps (real peak speed in perfect conditions up to 200 Mbps). Four LAN ports are provided for building a local cable network. The router can be configured by the user independently (via a standard web interface or the D-Link Assistant smartphone application).
