High performance professional cordless drill/driver with impact mode and efficient brushless motor. It features support for three different speed modes, impressive useful power (up to 820 W) and an impressive maximum torque (up to 95 Nm), for which the tool is equipped with an additional persistent handle. The compact brushless motor exhibits excellent energy efficiency and outstanding overload resistance, which is especially important during intensive professional use.
Drill driver DeWALT DCD996NT is positioned as a product of the upper price category, designed to perform a wide range of mounting and dismantling, assembly, construction and finishing works. A durable planetary gearbox with heat-hardened steel gears in a die-cast aluminium housing allows you to spin the keyless chuck up to a speed of 450, 1300 or 2000 rpm. At the first speed, screws, screws, self-tapping screws and other threaded connections are loosened / tightened (an 11-position clutch for adjusting the maximum tightening force is provided). On the second / third, it can quickly drill small holes in steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, wood and polymers. In general, I most often work alone or as part of a small team in private backyards. The work is very different, from the replacement / installation of the roof and fences, to finishing work in the house. And this versatility of the tool helps a lot. It can drill almost everything - steel, stone and concrete (in shock mode), not to mention plastic and wood. The nitrided steel keyless chuck with carbide inserts is limited to 13mm, but this is sufficient in 99% of cases. For its size, it has an unusually powerful motor, which is based on modern brushless technology. His torque is simply heroic, so when working with fasteners and soft materials, it is imperative to limit it, since he has an appropriate eleven-position clutch. In addition, it is worth noting the very capacious lithium-ion batteries that this screwdriver is equipped with, convenient lighting and chic equipment. The weight of 2.1 kg of grams during long-term work with one hand is tiring. And not many people are ready to pay $ 550 for a power tool, even if it is such a versatile one.
