Mini UPS from Eaton is designed to ensure uninterrupted operation of various low-voltage devices. 36 W output power and support for four operating modes with a voltage of 9, 12, 15 or 19 V increase the versatility of the model, making it compatible with IP cameras, routers, set-top boxes and network gateways.

For convenient connection, the Eaton 3S Mini 36W kit includes four DC connector adapters, including the popular 5.5 x 2.5 mm and rarer 4.75 x 1.7 and 3.5 x 1.35 adapters.

Silence and visibility

The UPS is a neat box measuring 96x30x136 mm and weighing less than 400 grams. Inside there are two Li-ion batteries with a capacity of 2.2 Ah each. A full charge takes about 4 hours, at full load (36 W) the battery will last for 11 minutes, but less loaded scenarios provide up to 5 hours of operation of an IP camera or 120 minutes of operation of a powerful router.

The noise level at a distance of 1 meter is 25 dB. Four LED indicators show operating mode and battery charge level.

The downside is that there is only one DC output, so connecting multiple devices will require a splitter. In any case, Eaton 3S Mini 36W is a quality solution from a manufacturer with a good reputation in the UPS market.
