We don't drive much and only for short distances. Friends with experience recommended this model as it is inexpensive and quite good quality. The materials are sturdy plastic, the fabric is pleasant to the touch, and the visor material is a bit see-through, but I think it’s designed that way for airflow. The child likes the seat; it's comfortable, and the side supports hold the baby well, often making them fall asleep in the car seat. The ability to remove the seat belts is a bonus since we always bring the seat home, and the child enjoys rocking in it with a toy (we reattach the belts when in the car). The seat base isn't flat but has a bulge, allowing it to be used as a rocking chair. Installation in the car is individual, as we had to purchase a belt extender. Otherwise, it installs and secures reliably. The inner mattress and cushion can be removed for regular washing, which is a plus. The manufacturer chose an unfortunate spot for the AIRBAG sticker, which isn't removable. It's unclear why they put this sticker in front of the child's face, where it grabs their attention, making them try to turn around. It could have been placed on the body of the seat.
