A wide range of maintenance-free starter batteries from the Polish company Exide. The Excell family includes models for passenger cars, minibuses and light commercial vehicles. The capacity of the battery series varies from 35 Ah to 110 Ah. All of them have an operating voltage of 12 V and are manufactured in standard European form factor cases. The model range includes a suitable solution with both left positive polarity and right positive contact.
The terminals here are traditional conical - type Euro. Exide Excell batteries are filled with liquid electrolyte and have plates with added calcium. Their design is maintenance-free - you do not need to add distilled water during operation. However, to control the charge level in the batteries of the line, a clear visual indicator was provided. The models of the detachment are characterized by durability, reliability and resistance to regular cyclic discharges. They also show unpretentiousness to temperature fluctuations.
That's how it happened, my battery leaked. It was old, but it lasted more than 5 years. Had to quickly find a replacement. At first, I wanted to get a Varta, but friends talked me out of it, and thank God, because Varta hasn't been that good for a while and, according to real reviews, lasts 2 years, no more. There was an option to get a Topla, good batteries, but a friend recommended this Exide, which has been with him for more than 3 years now and is not planning to die yet. I bought it. It's been a year and a half, and I have no complaints at all. That is, the battery has never let me down, even in severe frosts. According to the information I found on the internet, it uses a special lead wrapping technology that gives it greater longevity than the typical construction and it's easier for the generator to charge this battery. We'll see in practice, but it's lasted a year and a half. At the moment, very satisfied with the battery and recommend it for purchase. Absolutely reliable in any weather and temperature that I've encountered in CIS countries. The price is not low, of course, especially compared to regular inexpensive and particularly domestic batteries. But it's worth it, IMHO. No  kulchpavel: use Exide Excell more than year |
