A solid mid-range camera released as a systematic replacement for the first generation X-T30. In the second edition, the model completely retained the dimensions of its predecessor case (118x83x47 mm) and the vintage design. The retro-style design is the highlight of many mirrorless cameras from the Fujifilm X series. The camera has been “cosmetically” improved by the matrix (APS-C format sensor with a resolution of 26.1 MP, and the capabilities of the image processor (X-Processor 4) have been upgraded).

In 2021, the second version of the popular Fujifilm X-T30 camera was released. This updated model has slightly improved the characteristics of the image sensor and processor, and also increased the display resolution. However, the mirrorless camera still retains the vintage design of the previous model.
Brand matrix
The camera is still equipped with a proprietary X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with a resolution of 26.1 MP. Image processing is handled by the X-Processor 4 processor, which provides burst photography speeds of up to 8 frames per second using the mechanical shutter and up to 30 frames per second when using the electronic shutter. There is no built-in matrix image stabilization in the camera, but you can use stabilized lenses for the Fujifilm X system.
Video recording capabilities
The model has a fast and reliable phase detection autofocus system with almost 100% frame coverage. The camera focuses almost instantly, in just 0.02 seconds, and works well in tracking mode. When recording video, the Fujifilm X-T30 II uses data equivalent to 6K. Video recording to an SD card is possible at a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 frames per second in 8-bit 4:2:0 format, and 10-bit color representation with 4:2:2 subsampling can be output to an external recorder via HDMI. In addition, the camera is capable of recording video in Full HD format at up to 240 frames per second, which allows you to “freeze” fast movement in the frame.
Highlights of the model
This model comes with 18 preset film simulation modes, which will appeal to many photographers. There are also separate controls for setting shutter speed and exposure compensation. However, one of the disadvantages is the relatively short operating time on a single battery charge. However, this problem can be solved with the help of spare NP-W126s batteries.
