Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 GV-RX580AORUS-4GD price graph

    good model, I liked it
    3 April 2021
And so, comrades, to all who are interested. I've been using the graphics card for a year and a half now, and there's quite a bit to share. ONLY I have the version with 8 GB!! When it comes to performance, it's at a very decent level; whatever game I launch - it handles it all. Want to play Rust on ultra? No problem. Tanks? Easy. Metro, Forza, Lara Croft, and everything that was released in 2020 - it handles all of it. You might ask, what's the catch? There is one! Actually, two...

The first annoying thing is the noise; honestly speaking, my vacuum cleaner is quieter. When you play simple games like Dota, there's not much noise and it's playable, but when you launch something unoptimized like tanks, ugh... real tanks are quieter. (There's a solution, I'll tell you at the end). Meanwhile, Forza on ultra works quite quietly. (We need optimization in games!!).

The second is its hellish temperature. Comrades, under full load, it reaches around 70-80 degrees, and because of that, it starts spinning its fans to the noise level of a military aircraft (grandpa catches flashbacks from the war). On the plus side, it's not cold in winter; all this goodness is on my desk, so it's kind of like a "small" fan heater, a small bonus.

I promised to tell you how to deal with the noise. It's quite simple; you just need to turn on vertical synchronization. (60 fps is top. Minus a couple of school kids' frustrations))). If you're a CS enthusiast, you might choose not to enable it. It doesn't make much noise in CS.

Oh, and I almost forgot, the coils whine but I noticed this only in the menus of some games and in the tank hangar, otherwise, it's fine.
The price (I bought the 8 gig version for 6000 UAH in 2019 is now 19000 UAH in 2021 it’s time to do something with these miners), pulls all new games, nice appearance.
Noise noise noise. If you have a system manager under the table, it can still work. But if you play on the table only with headphones.
