Powerful mid-range gaming graphics card with proprietary WindForce 3X cooling system and factory overclocking. It is one of the available models of the GeForce RTX family of 2019, it is positioned as a video adapter for equipping high-performance mid-range gaming systems with FullHD resolution monitors (1920x1080). Fully supports real-time ray tracing rendering and is able to provide a whole new level of lighting quality for game scenes.
The progressive anti-aliasing method (DLSS) gives excellent results without a significant drop in performance. Like the popular RTX 2060 model, the graphics adapter is equipped with an Nvidia TU106 GPU, but in the case of the RTX 2060 SUPER, this GPU has 13.3% more active unified shader processors, texture units and tensor cores. This allows the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 8G graphics card to confidently outperform the Radeon RX Vega 64, the top-end card of the previous generation GTX 1080 and adequately compete with AMD's 2019 product Radeon RX 5700. Proprietary cooling system based on composite copper heat pipes and two large 100mm fans go into completely silent passive mode when there is no 3D load.

A great powerful video card, I bought it to pair with an i5-9600K @4.6GHz processor. I'm using it along with a 24" monitor with 144 Hz in FullHD resolution. At this resolution, such a system handles absolutely all games at maximum settings. In some cases, I have to slightly adjust the settings for comfortable 144 Hz, but it doesn't affect the graphics at all. The 8GB of memory on the video card is enough to load the most highly detailed textures, and in many games like Apex Legends, PUNG, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the FPS consistently exceeds 130 frames at maximum settings, and in Metro Exodus, it reaches a high of 70-80 frames per second. I tried overclocking, but it wasn't very impressive - stable operation was maintained with +70 MHz on the core and 900 MHz on the memory chips, with fans in automatic mode. My previous Asus GTX 970 overclocked significantly better (+140 MHz on the core, a gain of about 10%). Overclocking gave only about a 5% increase, which is not the best result for the RTX 2060 Super, judging by various reviews. But I am more than satisfied with its performance even without overclocking, so I'm not disappointed. The card is not noisy, the proprietary Windforce cooling handles it excellently. Additionally, the card is quite compact - only 265 mm long, and will fit into most cases. What I didn't like is that the backplate is made of plastic; I would have preferred a full metal one for such a price. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied with it, and the card's potential will last for 2-3 years. Good performance Windforce cooling system, quiet and efficient.
