Affordable gaming graphics card with a high-performance dual-slot cooling system, introduced to the market in 2022. The model is based on the progressive RDNA 2 microarchitecture, boasts a small factory overclock and is designed to provide a comfortable frame rate in games at FullHD resolution. The basis of the hardware of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G video card is formed by the Navi 24 graphics chip, created using a 6-nm process technology and equipped with 1024 stream processors.
The memory system is formed from 4 GB GDDR6 with a modest 64-bit data transfer bus. In general, such hardware is capable of providing excellent frame rates in eSports games, as well as good frame rates in popular AAA titles at medium graphics quality settings and 1080p resolution. The WINDFORCE 3X cooling system is represented by a proprietary heatsink with a copper contact pad with a graphics processor, two composite copper heat pipes, as well as three 80mm fans at once with an alternative impeller rotation scheme. The back side of the printed circuit board is covered with a metal plate that increases the security of the device. In games on the level of 1650S, although the frequencies are about twice as high. It's lightweight, which is unusual for its size. It handles all modern games, has useful AMD technologies, and looks impressive. The cooling system copes well. The graphics card is 30 degrees when loaded at 0 percent and 68 degrees when loaded at 100 percent (tested under load for about two hours). Very quiet GPU, top for its price. It even has Radeon ray tracing. Looks brutal and impressive, cold, quiet, can be overclocked, does not consume much from PSU, price is low these days. Made with 6 nm. A huge downside is the PCI-e 4.0; the graphics card may not fit all motherboards. The bus width is 64, but I think for this price, you shouldn't pay attention to that at all. Many criticize this chip, but I don't agree with all of them. I built a "modern" system. Not top-level, but not on a shoestring budget either. It includes the X570 chipset, 5 3600x, 16 gigabytes at 3600MHz. All with support for PCIe 4. If there's support for the fourth PCIe, then there's a point. What point? To upgrade your old graphics card, whether it's a 1050Ti or a 1060. I replaced the RX 580 with the 4-gigabyte one. I upgraded with an additional cost of 3 thousand. I thought there wouldn't be any performance difference at all, BUT there is! I felt a 10-30% increase! Am I satisfied? Yes! It's completely unknown when graphics cards will get cheaper (if they will at all). I watch the news every day, but we don't know what will happen six months from now living in this country.
