I decided to buy a double tent for a civilized fishing holiday. And what, they arrived with their son in the evening, they caught a fish, they caught it, they didn’t catch it, and bainki. Since the nights in our country are very cool and sometimes rainy both in summer and especially in autumn, I chose a high-quality tent, guaranteed to be waterproof and resistant to wind. The size of the living space is decent, 150 centimeters wide and 220 cm long allow you to sit in relative comfort. It is made of modern and high quality materials. The outer tent is sewn from a woven polyester reinforced with a durable thread. This material, even with a strong desire to tear, is almost unrealistic. He is afraid only of metal of sharp sharpening and fire. Therefore, make a fire at such a distance that the sparks flying out of the fire would not reach the awning anyway. In addition, the awning has multiple polyurethane impregnation, so that even heavy rain is not terrible for him. The inner tent is also polyester, but the fabric is different, allowing air and moisture to pass through. This is done so that condensation does not form inside the tent. All this stands on a fabric waterproof floor. It is so hydrophobic that you can even put it in a puddle, it will not let water through in any case. The 3-seater tent of the Czech manufacturer Hannah, modified in 2016, differs from its predecessor in the presence of a second entrance. It increases convenience and simplifies ventilation if the existing ventilation windows do not cope with this task.
Ready for the wind
The hemispherical shape of Hannah Serak 3 is given by two arcs made of aluminium. Such a frame is characterized by durability and handles well with serious wind loads. In the worst case, the posts may bend slightly, but they certainly won’t break, as happens with fibreglass.
The anti-tear awning has reinforced corners and sealed seams, which increase the reliability of the model.
For three seasons of use
The two-layer construction of the tent contributes to protection from condensation and cold. The inside is made of breathable polyester with a water-repellent coating, while the outer tent is made of polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating that can withstand a load of 4000 mm of water column.
The polyester used in the bottom of the Hannah Serak 3 is even more rain-ready as it has a water resistance of 10,000mm. Summer showers or demi-season lingering rains will not cause leakage, which means that the tourist’s sleeping bag remains dry. The manufacturer allows the use of the model in winter, but at this time of the year you should not expect impeccable protection against blowing.
Thoughtful temporary housing
The inner tent will occupy an area of 2.2x1.85 metres, which provides a sleeping place with a width of more than 60 cm for each user. There are mesh pockets around the perimeter of the base, a top shelf and a loop for hanging a lantern. The main entrance is duplicated with a mosquito net, it is large in size and complemented by a triangular vestibule 90 cm deep, where it is easy to place two large or three medium-sized backpacks.
