The second generation of the high-end Rockfall TKL Mecha mechanical keyboard, introduced to the market in 2023. The new modification has several important improvements: Hator Aurum switches and double sound insulation. The switches are manually lubricated from the factory, which makes the buttons operate as clearly as possible. The case has two layers of EVA foam, and there is additional sound insulation in the Space key.
Noise and vibration, which usually occur during active use of the layout, are reduced to a minimum. The Hator Rockfall TKL 2 Mecha Indigo Switch gaming mechanical keyboard operates with a polling rate of 1000 Hz. The speed of the keys is enough for effective control in the most dynamic scenes. The top of the keyboard is made of an aluminum plate, which makes the case more resistant to twisting and deflection loads.
The keyboard is supplemented with internal memory, making it possible to activate profiles with suitable macros on any computer. Keycaps are made of PBT; such buttons do not wear out even after intensive use of the layout. The connecting cord is connected via the USB-C interface. RGB lighting is available with a full range of colors and numerous flickering effects. There is proprietary software that adjusts the backlight and macro commands.

Hator Rockfall TKL 2 Mecha is also my friend’s keyboard from Hator, which I love so much. So, first of all, I respect the Rockfall EVO TKL, and I agree with that. The Rockfall EVO version had Kailh Black optical-mechanical transceivers, and the Rockfall 2 Mecha had Aurum Orange. Tactilely, the other version is softer and less clumpy, but everything depends on subjectivity, which is better compared to the sound on YouTube. Visually, the keyboards may not change, but in Rockfall 2 Mecha the backlight is brighter and more the galom looks more attractive. Also on the same page as Rockfall EVO - Rockfall 2 Mecha there are a few important things, including a cable and a noise-damping plug. The advantage of Rockfall EVO over the new version is Hot Swap, which allows you to replace jumpers without disassembling the keyboard. Otherwise, the two models may not differ in any way.
